I have enjoyed visiting Port City Jaffa branches mostly downtown in Wilmington for nealry 20 years but had a very bad experience in this location on Sunday, 6 November 2016. I asked for a flat white; but neither of the staff behind the counter had any idea what that was; remarkable for a specialised coffee shop. I explained that it... More

I enjoy the coffee and the green wave smoothie! I love that they have organic and healthier options at this coffee shop, like the oatmeal!

Excellent coffee, close to our hotel and even better since the marathon gave us coupons for FREE coffee.

It is a typical coffee shop but with not a lot of ambiance other than a range of paintings on the walls that are for sale. The coffee was good and the service pretty much as expected.

Let me start by stating - all coffee houses are overpriced. With that in mind, price is a moot point, for me, basically. I had a blended/frozen mocha with peanut butter syrup added and the cashier (who was very, very cool - I wish so badly I could remember her name) suggested some banana in it, too - incredible. The... Stopped in for a quick cup of coffee. Good location, comfy seating, amazingly friendly staff and fast wifi. The coffee is good, too! My first visit to a PCJ, and the impression was a good one. I'll be back!

Usually, I would stop at a new coffee shop (I am not from this area) and try a cup of the house brew, black, no sugar. I like the taste of coffee. However, this mid-day visit was prompted by the desire for something cold, like iced coffee. However, we ended up ordering two totally different drinks: a Chai milkshake and... More

Great fresh-brewed coffee! The Guatemala bean they were serving today was perfectly roasted! Not bitter or harsh and as someone who drinks strong, black coffee, this is greatly appreciated! After lunch, while strolling down on the river, we popped in at a different location for an iced chai tea and it was also perfectly made as well.

I'm in town getting my car worked on and happened upon Port City Java. I've yet to even take a sip of my coffee, but still feel inclined to rate this place 5 stars for one reason: the staff. Every person I spoke with was sincere. I feel that sincerity is lost in today's service world. Yes, for the most... More
