I found this restaurant on Trip Advisor and was excited to try. Sadly the restaurant would not seat us with our young children and we were turned away. The restaurant was completely empty. We arrived at 11AM on a Friday.

This is a great little gem in downtown Wilmington. Fabulous sandwiches, soups, homemade potato salad, etc. Every single sandwich is great. We just split a Cuban, with a soup and a side of potato salad and we were perfectly full .

The Wayfarer has a cozy interior, good service, and excellent food. Both my husband and I enjoyed our beverages and entrees - his a Santa Fe panini and mine a gluten-free option of the Tuscany panini. The white sangria was refreshing and a delightful surprise.
