Met family for dinner last night, and introduced them to Turkish/Mediterranean dishes. Good selection of Kebabs, Seafood, Vegetarian dishes and unique items. Haven't been back in a while, but will always be on our list. Had the Black Sea Combo which consists of chicken/beef/lamb/Turkish patty kebabs and wife had her fave...Eggplant Delight. Wine selections great and Turkish coffee similar to... More

Entering this restaurant on a Wed night, there was only other party in the place, which made me wonder about our selection. However, after finishing our meal, I couldn't understand why it wasn't busier. The food was very good and the service was very attentive. I'll be sure to visit again.

Went for first time with some friends who had recommended it. Glad they did because it was a really nice experience. Service was very informal, but efficient and helpful. Menu is somewhat limited, but what they offer is prepared very well. I had the chicken kabob which was moist and very tasty, while my wife had shrimp kabob and it... More

The Black Sea Grill has been one of my favorite destinations in Wilmington for 7 years. This is a Mom & Pop shop that does only a few things, but does them extremely well. I always have the kefta balls, and my wife always orders the beef kebobs. They're both so delicious we usually end up sharing, We keep coming... More

A quaint mediterranean restaurant offering a combination of entrees. We started with their hummus, which was some of the best we have ever tasted. I had the beef and chicken kabobs. They were superb, the beef was tender and marinated perfectly, the beef was the envy of the table. The chicken dipped in the yogurt, dill sauce was wonderful. The... More

My wife and I really enjoyed our dinner at this little gem on Front St. Grouper and shrimp were great and the warm baklava with the Turkish coffee was really good also.

Food was good, hummus was excellent and pita was tasty. The falafel was very good!!! Bathrooms were clean. Service was good, there was only one person working and little things like our water refill was slow.

We visited for a birthday dinner with family. It was our first time there. We had made reservations, which I highly recommend as the restaurant is small. The food was delicious!! After eating dinner, a couple of the staff sat and visited with us as we were the last ones there. It was a very enjoyable evening! We definitely will... More

We visited the Black Sea after a tour of homes in downtown Wilmington. There was a lot of activity for the weekend festival and it was surprising that the owners did not extend their hours to take advantage. I mention this only because the restaurant has limited seating and while we arrived 5 minutes after they opened, a large family... More
