Busy place. We could only get a late reservation, but came early and got seats at the bar -- and made someone happy to reserve the later table we turned in. Wonderful soup of the day and salads -- special Ceasar and autumn greens with...More

This farm to table restaurant exceeded my expectations. Unique and savory dishes, beautifully presented and paired with wine as you like. Great atmosphere and attentive and friendly staff. A definite return next time in town.

Down home country food at a reasonable price. The staff was attentive. Don't get the crab cakes if you are from Maryland. You will never find good crab cakes in the south if you are spoiled by real Maryland Crab cakes. Now if you want...More

Is this place still unwelcoming? I read the reviews, pretty terrible how a hostess can influence a restaurant experience to this degree. We will try a few others.....

Description
A Unique Farm to Fork Experience: Innovative Southern Food with a Local Backbone & Home Grown Libations

Frogs Leap Public House is a farm to table country pub at the corner of Church and Montgomery Streets, built in 1918 as the southeast's first Buick dealer just one block south of Main in the heart of historic downtown Waynesville. FLPH is focused on the culture, art, music, wine, beer and especially the food of Western North Carolina.

Like the City of Waynesville itself, FLPH is Southern down to its roots, but draws influences from around the world. The food is fresh and local, the libations are home grown, the music is American and has a beat. FLPH is home to a family with a passion for serving world class food, wine, and spirits in a soulful, comforting atmosphere.
