Recently my girlfriend and I met for lunch at the Frogs Leap Restaurant. I had the lamb sandwich and it was outstanding. The flavor, texture and tenderness of the lamb was exceptional. My friend had the baby arugula, strawberry and goat cheese salad and said it was delicious. We topped off our lunch by having a glass of Pinot Noir.... More

Visited this place with another couple for our Friday night meal. The menu was varied enough that just about anyone could find something appealing, The entrees for all were very well done although I found the lamb chops to be too fatty. They were, however, well seasoned and presented. I was disappointed in the bean soup appetizer - it was... More

We visited Frogs Leap with three other couples and came away with both good and questionable feelings. The food was really good. Service was good, but not great. We asked for salt and pepper and were told that they had only two salt and pepper shakers in the restaurant. That seemed a bit arrogant on the part of the chef... More

Frogs Leap Public House has some unique items on their menu. Both of us had the freshly made goat cheese ravioli, topped with smoked chicken slices served in a broth. It was unique and excellent. Salads were excellent and we shared a piece of the pecan pie, which was to die for. Service was great; Neville was knowledgeable, pleasant and... More

Lamb chops and baby arugula salad were delicious! Waiter was knowledgeable and attentive. A little pricey.

I have been to the Frog's Leap previously. But I have been trying to watch my weight, getting ready for the summer. Even though I was dieting, the meal was great.

Our first visit was for dinner. The food was really nice with a Southern twist. We loved the Cesar salad with the wonderful grit croutons. Everyone was friendly and the food & service were wonderful. We liked it so much that we stopped there for lunch on our last day in Waynesville. We highly recommend this restaurant!

As we entered the restaurant, it was filled with smoke in the air as they smoke their own meat. If you are sensitive to smoke, you can eat at the bar area. They serve the same food. The ingredients are from local area and very fresh. Exceptional food.
