Always a very good meal. I particularly enjoy the whole flounder and the chowder. My wife always gets the pear salad with tuna. Always clean and fast. Wonderful attentive staff.

Firstly, they start you off with hush puppies and honey butter which is absolutely heavenly. The food is incredible and extremely generous portions. The flounder and mahi mahi were so fresh they nearly jumped off the plate. The waitress was kind, knowledgeable and attentive. They food came out quickly and you could tell the restaurant staff was extremely efficient. This... More

We arrived around 7 pm on a Thursday and it is busy season here but we were seated immediately which tells me this restaurant is managed well. We ordered a pitcher of IPA and our dinner of salmon, flounder & shrimp. All items were amazing. Our server was also very efficient and was busy with many tables. We will be... More

Twin Lakes was visited June 20, 2015. Service was excellent from the front door to the checkout. Bar tender exceptionally friendly. The food was excellent. There were 4 adults and two children in the group and all were well satisfied.

My wife, son and I had dinner at Twin Lakes last evening, and, as always, it did not disappoint. The food, service and view were excellent. We have lots of "fried seafood" places in our area, but Twin Lakes doesn't fall in that category. My wife and son both had broiled seafood combination plates and I had the whole bone-in... More

After a number of disappointing dinners in the Ocean Isle/Sunset area, we were directed to Twin Lakes, and finally got the great fish/seafood dinner we had been craving all week. Despite hosting a wedding rehearsal dinner for a large party, the wait staff did super work and our meals arrived beautifully prepared and in an appropriate amount of time. The... More

My husband and I went here for our anniversary dinner while vacationing in OIB. The food was average but our server, Amber, was great.

Enjoyed our dinner very much. We sat at a two top by the window overlooking the Intercoastal Waterway. Bridget was our server and she was excellent. I had the crab cakes and my husband had the mixed grill. Bridget recommended the succotash for the side dish and we both enjoyed it. We finished our meal by sharing a piece of... More

We really enjoy this restaurant. It is a bit pricey, but I do order crab cakes. They are the best! The Hushpuppies are addictive and worth going for alone. The clam strips are real clams and when asked to be cooked extra crispy are little pieces of crunchy heaven.
