We stopped at Luigi’s for a relaxing lunch. Luigi’s is a quaint, family owned Italian restaurant that serves delicious food, and also supports food banks in our community. Luigis’ hostess greeted us at the door with a mask (due to the coronavirus), and had hand...sanitizer readily available. The tables were safely arranged to provide for social distancing. My husband and I were hungry after a day of golf, so we shared three items: a personal-pan sized pepperoni and mushroom pizza; Luigi’s Stromboli with pepperoni, sausage, onions, green peppers, mushrooms, ham and bacon served with marinara sauce for dipping; and Homemade Lasagna. Each plate was served hot, with fresh ingredients, and was deliciously prepared. We enjoyed the food and service so much, that we were ready to go back the next day.More

Being Italian I admit,I have high expectations. This food is mediocre at best. Will not return. I wanted to like Luigis since it’s so close to my home.

I was hesitant to order ribs when I should be enjoying Italian food, but they are one of my special treats. The mention of bourbon barbecue sauce was also enticing. I was not disappointed...they were some of the best ribs I've had from all over...the country. Smoky, lean and definite bourbon flavor. My family were equally impressed with the eggplant parmesan and lasagna. Huge portions of each. Service was excellent (needed some extra barbecue sauce -yum). The chef came out to make sure we enjoyed everything and I promised we would be back. I want to try a salmon dish next time to see what magic they do with that.More

For the price point this is excellent. Have had occasion lately to get take out (not pizza) and they do a really nice job with this.

My wife and I decided to eat at Luigi's last night after a hard day of packing before a move. What a great choice. We started our meal with a very dry vodka martini with a wedge of lime...perfectly made...and two appetizers: calamari and spicy...deep fried cauliflower. The cauliflower was like a veggie wing and served with ranch dressing...delicious. We then each ordered a "small house salad". This was far from a small salad, well prepared with tomatoes, cucumbers and red onions. We finished by splitting an order of Chicken Marsala. Even this split order was large, and we took some home. Finally, a shout-out to Tiffany our waitress. She did a great job and brought each course as we asked her. Needless to say, she was tipped very generously. We will return.More

We had a wonderful dinner at Luigu’s in Summerfield recently. We had not been there since the restaurant expanded from a “pizza joint”. Now the dining experience is much more refined and the food is delicious. We’re happy that this is so close to our...home.More

Food was good, atmosphere was good and prices were reasonable. Definitely recommend if you are in Summerfield and worth the drive from Greensboro and surrounding towns.
