I surprised my husband with brunch here for his 70th birthday. We are strong supporters of farm to table restaurants and local food, so if you are not, you probably won't appreciate this place. The meal began with a spring mix salad with watermelon radishes...More

This place may last in Spruce Pine just because there is nothing like it around, but this place, food, service would never survive with competition. We stopped in for brunch. Started with a nice salad. Yes, it was delicious and fresh and the blood orange...More

We had heard about this restaurant from friends. So I decided to take my wife for her birthday. I had reserved a table that was supposed be secluded and romantic. Lol this table was sandwiched between others with no seclusion at all. Restaurant was extremely...More

The wait staff was welcoming and sweet. Wine was great. Dinner itself was delicious. My husband had the rabbit and loved it. I had the gnocchi and it was to die for. We’ve never had vegetables cooked so expertly before! Dessert didn’t disappoint, either! Apple...More

We visited back in September. Happened upon it on a Sunday afternoon. We loved every bite and the service is outstanding. Met the chef and he took the time to explain the layers of flavor in a broth that accompianed a fresh trout dish. Returned...More

A change in reservation from 3 to 4 people (including myself) was accommodated graciously by the staff in October for an evening meal. It was a little odd for the dining experience to have a diner feel (the kitchen open to the dining area), but...More

We were visiting friends in the area and they had heard from locals about this restaurant. Small but quaint restaurant. Local favorite so I recommend reservations. We got there early, without reservations, and luckily they could seat us. All meals are made with local vegetables....More

Good food, trendy, chef's table. That day there were two choices chicken or fish. We got the chicken with grits. It was enjoyable, but a little costly. You need reservations, at least we did for Sunday Brunch.
