The Pharmacy is permanently closed. Scheduled to reopen as an oyster bar in late summer 2017. New ownership.

Stopped for lunch today ,since the website said it was open. . It is being remodeled by the new owners and will become an oyster bar. Same owners as Oliver's just down the street. If it's as good as our lunch at Oliver's today, I CANT WAIT !😍

Never disappointed with food quality here, but for lunch a chicken sandwich $12, for me is too high. Service was OK - our waitress was new, and our glasses stayed empty too long. Again food was good, atmosphere nice for an old building, but a little pricey.

The food here was very good but a bit pricey. They sold the Pharmacy and over the winter it's being renovated. Although it hasn't been announced if and when it will open for business.

had dinner here and was totally delighted. Went back recently while in the area and so sad to see it is closed. I certainly hope they open somewhere soon. Loved the food!!!!

The building has been sold needs renovations as roof leaks , old plumbing etc. Hopefully, it will reopen as a restaurant as the permit process is very hard in Southport to open a new restaurant .

The Pharmacy is very pricey, small portions. The atmosphere is okay, but noisy. Will not eat here again.

After 17 years, Kelli and Dan are calling it quits. The Pharmacy is closing. The 19th century building has been purchased, and will be renovated by the new owner. His plans for the space are not yet public knowledge. Rumor is that he will hold on to the building as an investment, and, once repairs to the roof, etc. are... More

The turn-of-the-century pharmacy is gone, but in its place is a delightful little dining spot. A talented kitchen and attentive servers guarantees a great meal at reasonable prices. What more could you ask for in Southport??
