This place is well overpriced for the quality of food you get. I was not impressed in the slightest. They have a great view of the water though. So if you are looking for a great view this is your place. But if you are going for great food turn around and go elsewhere!

Our server - Tiana ( I hope I have the spelling correct) - was perfect. Friendly, timely and a bundle of positive energy. My fried flounder and my dear wife's fried shrimp were terrific, We were both in the mood for fries, but we were told that they were out. We agreed to the chips.. Much effort went into the... More

My wife loves the salad here, and the scallops dinner is great. The breading has a wonderful flavor but also literally falls off the food, which is good. They just closed for the season but should be open again in March, give them a try.

The menu has changed from the original casual dining experience. The food from the new menu doesn't measure up to the price charged. The seafood was OK but nothing compared to other restaurants in the area.

Even though I am sure this restaurant is wide-open in peak season, the dinner was excellent this November night. Great service. We got the Coconut Shrimp appetizer, along with a small order of homemade potato chips, both were very good. I got the BBQ Ribs and grilled Shrimp special, and since we only had time for one dinner on the... More

Very nice place to dine by the water. Nice View!! Enjoyed our meal watching the boats come and go on the river. I had flounder and my husband had the ribs and shrimp. The food was great!! Best ribs around!!

I went twice in the same week while working in the area. Everything was delicious. Grouper appetizer with seasoned tarter sauce was top shelf. Followed up with blackened grouper and roasted vegetables. Hush puppies were some of the best I have had. You won't be disappointed with this must try experience.

Must admit, was just hungry. Had no expectations, hadn't heard anything really about the place. Just thought it looked kinda, well, neat. Elevated, great views of the Cape Fear and Bald Head. Gave it a shot. Place was pretty crowded, even for an off-season Saturday night, but we opted to sit at the bar. Great choice. Got to talk to... More

We ate at the bar and the service was spectacular! Food was served quick and hot. Corn chowder and crab cakes as appetizers.. delicious. Fantail shrimp and fried fish platter for main meal...not one bite left on plate. Great beer selection. Oh and don't forget....sweet potato biscuits that melt in your mouth.

Great location. Friendly staff. Enjoyed the fried shrimp. Excellent chowder, spicy though. Would certainly visit again.
