From the time we pulled up this place looked refined. Beautiful setting and nice fires indoors. Service was excellent and the food from the entrees of prawns and scallops, through to the main of barramundi, and then piece de resistance, the passionfruit soufflé! Absolutely delicious!...One of the best restaurant experiences I have had!More

Arrived early for a lunch booking at 1.06 pm. Shown to a table and asked for our water choice. 42 minutes later, having had no one even asking if we wanted a drink, lunch or anything else, my wife and I thanked the waitresses who...were chatting behind the bar and said" Thank you, we are leaving now" An stunningly wonderful example of South Australian hospitality at its worst!More

Dined here on a Friday night with friends--a party of 6 in total. The place was packed(we learnt that a large table of perhaps 20 people were celebrating the end of vintage and doing it with verve and gusto) I should start that this restaurant...is not cheap but still I guess that is less important if you feel you get value for money as we certainly did. When we were there there was no a la carte menu on offer rather we all had the choice of a 2,3 or 4 course meal each at a set price with multiple choices on offer for each course.I am not sure if a la carte is available at lunch time. I chose a really delightful blue swimmer crab linguine as a starter--it was so good I good have eaten a large bowl of it and nothing else and would have been satisfied. My second course was duck two ways which was very nice but the first course had kind of spoiled me. My wife chose two courses only having local prawns --I think she had about 6 of them and with the accompanying salad and side dishes of vegetables we ordered for the table she was more than happy. Most others in our group had Barramundi and loved it. All but one of us had desert and chose the Passion Fruit souffle--amazingly good-well risen, soft and delicate. On looking back on my previous review I note that I also had duck and souffle then-I had forgotten but it must have registered subliminally. My friend looked after the wine ordering so I didn't look at the wine list but he is well known Barossa Valley identity and far more knowledgeable than me and chose a mix of local and imported wines which were all excellent. We had been a little concerned about the number of the people in the place but didn't feel crowded or hemmed in so were comfortable with the social distancing afforded us--we were seated near the open wood fire so it was pleasantly warm without being too hot. We will be back--hopefully well before another 5 years and recommend it highlyMore

Another Gem in the Barossa…make sure you book so you don’t miss out as this is one for the list. The food is amazing, the staff excellent and it is a beautifully designed restaurant with a very relaxing atmosphere.

This is a real experience Each dish rather than the next. In particular the Atlantic salmon small fish and the chill Shezuan chicken. Try it all and share dishes. No need to splurge on the wines. The 2015 Langmiel shiraz best value on the list....Great service and great location EnjoyMore

This was our second visit and I had decided to surprise my father for his 84th birthday after a glorious first sojourn. Again the atmosphere and service were excellent and only surpassed by the meals. The anchovy-stuffed olives and freshly baked baguette were just the...start. Next came the salmon which was divine, followed by the crab linguine which was even better and capped off with the exquisite barramundi. Just when we thought we had seen it all, the dessert took things to the next level with the passionfruit souffle being something to savour. Suffice to say it was a meal we didn't want to end. We'll be back!More

Found by accident but had a fantastic experience. Enjoyed steak and fish, salads, fine wines and coffee in a beautiful ambience. Staff were great, and compliments were given to the chef.

This was one of our better dining experiences we have had for quite some time. My wife and I enjoyed the three course dinner and the staff were attentive, without being intrusive.
