Currently the club seems to have a good chef and all kitchen staff work very hard. Over the 2016 Christmas break the fresh fish specials were excellent, though they do often run out fairly quickly of fresh fish. Roast nights (Tuesdays) are good value for families.

Great oysters Kirkpatrick at a very reasonable price. Kids meals are great for the price with a serve yourself salad. It steer clear of the frozen margaritas- overly sugary syrup and watered down.

Went for bingo as we do each xmas we spend at Straddy. Lined up for dinner at 7.05pm, huge line in front of me, got to the counter at 7.20pm to order and the rude pink haired woman behind the counter says "closed". So we continue to play bingo because we had already paid the $41.00. Went to the bar... More

It had good reviews, but I was disappointed. The wait time for the meal was 30 mins, although there was only one chef on, so I'm sure he did his best. Chicken Curry was a special of the day mine was ok but my partner really did have to go searching for the chicken. The reviews were ok so maybe... More

All of our food was terrible, really really terrible. Plasticy artificial frozen crap. Sausage taste like a cheap hotel dog and looked like chicken loaf, certainly no actual meat in it.

Eat here everytime we stay on Stradbroke Island. Food is usually good, the staff friendly, happy to have a chat. Prices reasonable. New cook this time we visited, very good.

This place has good food and is your typical bowls club with a limited menu but is good value for money and the service is good, it has a free pool table too.
