Our family party of 13 descended on the cafe at 9:00 am without booking. On arrival, wait staff immediately offered to pull tables together to seat us, inside or outside. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast: service was friendly, calm and efficient. Our 6 grandchildren range...More

We were advised by several local experts on 'fish and chips" that this establishment offered the best meal in Eden. Having many years of experience eating fish and chips ... finding the 'best' can be challenging! Well - may be this was the best! Super...More

Beautiful fish lunch, and a very nice peppermint cheese cake which was a first for us was absolutely gorgeous! A bit pricey but nice.

good views, especially if you sit outside, coffee is a highlight. Food was impressive, but like most holiday destinations its just overpriced for what you get. Fish and chips were good but some of the other seafood dishes were light on seafood, guess we ship...More

We had no sooner sailed into Eden and tied our lines, when we wandered across to Waterside Cafe for a late lunch. The Fish Tacos with Mexican aioli and fries were wonderful. Our other choice was "Fish of the Day" - lightly battered Grenadier Not...More

I was looking forward to trying the Eden mussels as the boats in the marina advertised selling them to you direct and this cafe had a nice dish that contained them on the menu. No ! , I'm sorry we haven't had them for a...More

Firstly, I'll explain in regards to the mussels. It wasn't that we took mussels off our menu, and hadn't bothered to change the menu. It was because they weren't supplying mussels, due to a closure. Eden mussels will always be showcased at Wharfside Cafe. They...More

Wharfside Cafe is a fully licensed cafe/restaurant situated on the harbour in Eden, New South Wales. Our view is beautiful and the fact that it is a working port makes it interesting as well. Dolphins come in close during winter and we have a resident seal that can quite often be seen playing around. Our cafe possesses a unique character with a mediterranean seaside feel. We take pride in serving fresh local seafood as well as a range of non-seafood meals and vegetarian options. We cater to the gluten intolerant and those with food allergies. Children are always welcome and we have choices for them as well. Our DiBella coffee is regarded as the best in town and we like to maintain this high standard. We are a friendly team of service staff who always strive to please our customers. During the high season we recommend booking a table to avoid disappointment. We look forward to serving you soon!
