It started with a genuine and warm welcome. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and was a great place to celebrate my husband's birthday. The food was excellent, the service outstanding and their attention to details was wonderful. I highly recommend it.

Tuna appetizer is one of the best. Near perfect dish in its simplicity. Mushrooms and asparigus sides good. Ribeye was fine but not great. A little tough and so so flavor. Steak did not compare to Sullivan's or Ruth's Chris.

Kind of a local gem. Not a place we often think to go but always enjoy when we do. Food is good and staff is friendly. Waiter picked a great bottle of wine. They often run specials, was a price fixed $80 dinner for 2 including bottle of wine. However our choice of wine not on the selection list, so... More

We're glad you had a good dinner with us! We definitely understand that our Old World decor can seem a bit dated, but we're always striving to make sure everyone has a comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere. We look forward to having you for dinner again soon! More

I met 5 old buddies for a late dinner.. The bartender and hostess were spot on...hostess picked a table to allow the guys to have fun without bothering other patrons. I had a couple of drinks at the bar waiting for everyone to arrive. The bartender was super friendly and poured a good drink! The drink service at the table... More

My wife and I took a business associate here upon his recommendation. We were surprised of the quality of steak but small portions. Otherwise it was a good dinner with excellent service and atmosphere.

We went here for a birthday celebration with no reservation and sat in the bar area. We got lucky and got a table immediately and the bartender was great even though he had a full bar to take care of in addition to his tables. The food was absolutely fantastic. We came here on a recommendation from a friend and... More

This steakhouse is hit or miss. This time our service and food were good, not great. Previous visits, our food has been stellar. It is a good option when you want to eat at a locally owned restaurant.

I am striking out this week on restaurants. We ordered the hot crab dip. Large portion but it lacked something it was ok nothing special. For our meal I ordered the petite filet it was cooked to the correct temp but it lacked flavor. The twice baked potato it was blah. The manager told me that filets don't have a... More

Every time I have guests or a special occasion I will be at Vinnies. This isn't just a steak house, they have everything. Tom (the chef) brings in hand picked fresh seafood from Wanchese NC. Fresh soft shell crab and sword fish were recent selections. The side dishes are off the charts. Hand cut fries, fried squash and mac and... More
