This hidden gem is worth navigating to. The atmosphere is special, due to its location and setting, and the friendly service and authentic southern (breakfast) food are equally satisfying. One warning: the salty ham steak is, well salty. The biscuits are the best I have...More

Why is this place so popular? It’s routinely got a line of people waiting to get in on weekends. Lunchtime it’s packed too. You can do so much better elsewhere. Downtown is loaded with actual GOOD restaurants. I just don’t get it. The waitresses at...More

This restaurant was recommended to us as a good place to buy a good breakfast near our hotel. We were not disappointed. It was filled with locals on a Saturday which is always a good sign. Would go back. about 4 years ago

Went for lunch with three others. Everything was great, plenty of delicious food and very reasonable priced. I love the chicken pastry.

Enjoy having weekend breakfast at Big Ed’s. All of the basic breakfast fare. Really like the ham biscuits. And you can get red-eye gravy for your grits. Staff and service are great.

This is a unique place to go for southern meal. 4/5 stars because they have very shorts hours. Breakfast to early lunch daily but a great place to take visiting family or having a solo meal.
