We had several people out for a team dinner, and first I have to say: for such excellent food, the prices were very reasonable. Our service was perfect (Angalina)! It's a little tricky to find as the strip mall is off of a very hard quick right as soon as you enter Glenwood Ave at the light. It's a small... More

Had a wonderful dinner here on a Friday evening. We had reservations and were seated immediately upon arrival. Wait staff was very attentive. Food was good and attractively presented. What would have put this over-the-top would have been warmer temperatures of the food. The she crab soup was not uniformly cooked and some of our dishes also did not seem... More

A fantastic evening meal. Started with their soup du jour, a sweet potato bisque with pecans. This tasty, unusual dish set the bar for the food that followed. My wife found sauteed scallops to be divine. My entree of oysters was outstanding. The menu (which is available online), the service, and food quality were all superb. Dressy casual attire.

Three of us on a weeknight enjoyed Glenwood Grill's usual excellent Carolinas-focused food. The others had tomato soup, while I resisted and then yielded to the fine She Crab Soup. As entrees, one picked the half-portion "Carpetbagger" (one filet mignon instead of two), while two of us chose the fresh NC flounder, pan-seared and served on a bed of root... More

I was in beautiful Raleigh on business and had the pleasure of enjoying lunch at this fine location. Unfortunately, we were pressed for time but still managed to have an splendid lunch with a helpful wait staff. We both had the soup of the day, a puréed black bean and ham soup which had the perfect blend of spices and... More

Picked it from Google recommendation and say enough superlatives. Outstanding in every respect - decor, menu, service, food quality. Excellent wait staff, especially Ellie. Don't let the strip mall location fool you.

The Glenwood Grill specializes in "Farm to Fork" local cuisine and seafood. It was highly recommended by a local, and we were not disappointed. My wife had the special of the day (Grilled flounder over grits, with a lima bean and corn relish), I had their highly touted Shrimp and Grits. Both dishes were very flavorful, excellently prepared, and attractively... More

An oldie, but a goodie. Been years since I’ve been there and this recent visit did not disappoint. I’m not much of a meat eater, but they had a special pork tenderloin that was out of this world. About $30 per person for dinner, one drink each, no dessert.

We wanted to try someplace new for a Date Night and my wife picked an absolute winner. The night we went was the first night for a new menu. We were told there were some all-time favorites, but the like to switch it up depending on what is available. The Pimento Cheese Crab Bake was a great starter that paired... More

We go here for lunch several times a year and we're never disappointed. The crab cakes are always delicious, and we usually get whatever special is on the chalkboard. The service is usually attentive without being overbearing. Highly recommended.
