Great place to eat and have a drink. The atmosphere was fun and the food was very good. Tried a variety of wings and they were all flavorful and delicious.

Had dinner with our grandson who really likes the pub food served here. The prices are reasonable and the portions are large. The room was noisy and it was hard to carry on a conversation. The food is fresh.

Went into the pub and saw a hurling match on the TV, very friendly staff, very good local feel. The brunch which was very good, with traditional Irish favorites. I will definitely trying it again when I am back in Raleigh.

Very authentic Irish cuisine located in a beautiful building on Glenwood. Definitely worth stopping for. Had a sandwich and it was prepared great. Try their European imports - all wonderful. Sit upstairs and enjoy the view of downtown Raleigh while listening to authentic Irish music.

My friend and I sat upstairs in the outside terrace. The location is beautiful and the bar itself is well decorated. The food and drinks were to die for even though slightly overpriced. The only downside was that the wait time was a little long...More

Description
The Hibernian…an authentic taste of Irish culture. The Hibernian Irish Pub & Restaurants savor the old world and the new taste of Ireland. Hibernian is a word that is derived from the Latin term Hibernia which translates to 'one who comes from Ireland’, and that is exactly what you can expect from this pub. Carrying on with Irish tradition, we offer an atmosphere that infuses the alluring and relaxing nature of a traditional Irish social club and the warmth of a Gaelic home kitchen. The Hibernian Restaurant and Pubs offer a unique atmosphere that caters to people from all walks of life, from the family of four to the sports fan that is looking for a place to have a drink and watch the game, and even the professional who comes in to have a quick lunch in the middle of the day. Whether you’re stopping in for happy hour or to relax and enjoy the home cooked taste of Ireland, the pubs are a meeting place to talk, to debate, to sing, to laugh, to drink and to eat delicious food.
