We ordered the Shrimp and Croaker fish plate at the Fry Shack and it was great! They put enough food on the plate for 2 people. They also have one best section of fresh seafood around! We will be back!

Probably the best in Raleigh IMHO. Attentive and knowledgable staff. Good range of what is available from our coast and, when needed, from other suppliers.

I eat her when I am in town, I order the popcorn shrimp and fresh slaw and potato salad. The guys there was great that day, very friendly and great cooks also. The place is inside the seafood market. The shrimp and hush puppies was not greasy at all.

I normally visit Saltwater Seafood & Fry Shack on a weekly basis because I feel they have the freshest seafood in Raleigh, NC. I absolutely love the owner Mike because he has educated me on so many varieties of seafood. For example, I never tried pompano or butter fish until Mike introduced me to these 2 types of fish. Now... More

Best place in Raleigh to get fresh fish! The staff there is excellent and always willing to answer questions. Fun to see some of the fish that is new to us - and then they prep it for you!

Service is amazing and they always have the freshest seafood around. We love to stop here on the weekends to pick up fish and oysters and crabs and shrimp. Everyone is super nice and ready to filet whatever we want to buy on demand. The place is always busy on saturdays so you know it is a true find. We... More

Okay I realize this is a seafood restaurant but that doesnt mean the parking lot has to smell like rotten fish. The fish had no taste and while I was at the counter waiting the two cooks were goofing off which is probably why one of my side items was missing when I got all the way home. Called the... More
