Food is always great but service is usually not very good. Most of the time some people in the party have finished before some ever get served. We continue to go because of the food not the service.

Excellent preparation and flavor blends. Very reasonable pricing and friendly service. Have been many times and never been disappointed.

We arrived at Bangkok Thai less than half an hour before closing and they couldn't have been nicer. We never felt rushed, our server was so friendly and sweet, the food was fresh and delicious. One of us had yellow curry with chicken which was exceptional, my chicken pad Thai was plentiful and yummy. Others had spicy basil chicken which... More

I've been here a few times. The food is authentic Thai, if you ask for the spicy version. They use all of the condiments you'd find in Bangkok, not the Americanized versions, so as not to hurt tender palates in the US. The staff is authentic and the facility is plain and similar to what you'd find in thousands of... More

It's nearly impossible to find real Thai food here because they change the flavors and ingredients to accommodate American tastes. For the curry and Pad Thai crowd who think that is Thai food, you'll find this acceptable and tasty but nowhere close to authentic. It's slightly spicy Chinese food or fast food Thai with bland, watered down sauces. If you've... More

This is a very small Thai restaurant in a strip shopping center. Seats around 40. The lunch specials include a choice of 5 or 6 appetizers and an entrée and includes drink. Selected the salad as my appetizer and it was really good and very nicely presented. The main entrée also was excellent the portion size could have been a... More

We've been dining here for a couple of years now and the food is consistently delicious. If you like it spicy make sure you let your server know. The lunch deal is well worth it with just the right amount of food. Finding a decent Asian restaurant around Raleigh is difficult but look no further than Bangkok Tai. Lately the... More

Whenever I don't feel like cooking, we end up here. The vegetables are fresh & crisp. The shrimp is large and fresh. The chicken is slivered breast meat. The sauces are delicately seasoned. The plate is always attractive. We have spent time in Thailand and this is just like we ate there.

Thank 0Tally
