My husband and I dined there last night and it was great! I had read all of the reviews and was excited to try it out. We were not disappointed! I had the broiled scallops and he had the seafood gumbo. Both were delicious. The...More

This restaurant is great for dinner. They have a varied menu with specials. The coquille appetizer is not to be missed. Service is excellent. We have been here a number of times and have never been disappointed. The crab cakes are especially delicious.

This was superb. I could barely eat it all. Shirt and shoes required. This is a place you can dress up for.

My wife and I enjoyed a delicious meal here. She had the gumbo and I had pecan-crusted Tilapia. The house salads were excellent. Bread was so nice with whipped butter. It is a little cramped, and so the atmosphere was a little lacking, at least...More

The food as usual was perfect. We all had different seafood dishes and all were wonderful. We had a slight accident at the table and Kevin was great about taking care of it for us.

Extensive menu but everything we have had was terrific. Reservations on weekends recommended. Go for the tuna.

Always extremely good food at The Flying Melon, executed properly with style. Hand crafted cocktails offer additional "good spirits" and wine selections are plentiful. Obviously the fresh fish/seafood dishes are exceptional, other offerings do not disappoint...Simply put, you must have dinner here at least once...More

Unfortunately, I was not impressed with the Flying Melon. In my opinion the food was just not good. The salad they bring before your meal was disgusting. Basically I paid $30 for the bread and mashed sweet potatoes....that was the only thing I could eat...More
