Can't believe this was our first time having lunch at Fish Heads! We have been to Nags Head many times but this is the first year we walked to the pier for lunch. Enjoyed the food and drinks. Service was good. Atmosphere was fun and lively. Will definitely be back next year!

While visiting in OBX we stopped in twice for lunch and once for Happy Hour shrimp special! The food is good, we had the grilled fish sandwiches which is very good, the fries are the frozen coated type but still good. The peel n eat shrimp was good as well while listening to live music and enjoying cold drinks. Beautiful... More

This was a rare occasion and could not think of a better place to see this than the deck at Fish Heads! We had a few drinks, some great shrimp, some coch fritters, and some fish tacos. Add the sound of the ocean and a full moon- a perfect evening!

We sat on the pier & had lunch. The only negative, if you call it that, is that it was SO windy the umbrellas could not be put up. We had our tasty seafood meal & cool drinks & had our time in the sun all at once. We will go back when we are in OBX again!

I heard of this place from years of advertising listening to the radio, and wanted to give it a go. We went for lunch, and enjoyed sitting on the pier open air. Lots of outdoor seating, but the windy conditions kept us near the bar. Good selection of draught beers available. The food was just average to us. Nothing that... More

Whenever we visit OBX we make sure to stop here . Bar food is pretty good the atmosphere is fun. We were chased out by the tropical storm this year but we will be back again for sure.

Live music, wonderful oceanfront views and the food.... Conch fritters and steamed shrimp were excellent. Attentive courteous staff. We will return.

Showed up hungry and hoping for a nice beach atmosphere. We were pleased to find they we're having a tap takeover by ballast point brewery, so the drinks were on point (STS). The seating is on a pier over the surf, and the bar is large and decorative. Very clean for an outdoors venue. There were lots of people fishing... More

Fish Heads is a great way to end the day in OBX. The atmosphere is relaxed, there's live music most evenings and 15 cent steamed shrimp during happy hour (4-6 pm). Lots of beer on tap and decent wine selection. The seating is either full al fresco or under the awning. Grabbing a seat may be the only draw back... More
