We stopped for dinner based on Trip Advisor reviews. They were right! This is a great place to eat and it is entertaining! Food was fantastic...especially conch fritters! Lots of craft beers. It is right on the end of the pier. You can't go wrong if you have kids. Lots to keep them entertained. Great views. In the summer they... More

This truly is a fun place to go. You can't beat the view - right on the ocean. Wait staff is friendly. Lots of beers on tap. Casual lunch or dinner menu - our favorites are the burgers, crab cake sandwich, fish tacos and sweet potato fries.

My family decided to try Fish Head on our recent trip to the Outer Banks. For the price, almost $60 for a family of five, I was hoping for a bit more. The location is nice, on the pier with views of the ocean. Personally, I had the clam strips. The seasoning on them was tasty, but most of the... More

Cool location right on the pier. We came when it was happy hour and the 15 cent shrimp were really tasty. They don't have a liquor license, so they have a list of cocktails made with sake. We had the sake margaritas and they were delicious! Will definitely come back on our next trip. Even just for a quick drink... More

This is the locals place to eat in Nags Head. The food was the most affordable on our trip. My wife loved the Conch Fritters, and I thought the Crab Cake sandwich was delicious. Also, 15 cent shrimp during happy hour. Beautiful views can also be had on the pier during dining. Or you can eat inside at the lively... More

I've only ordered appetizers and they were just ok though my niece swears by the fish tacos. No matter. I love this place. The staff is very friendly, the views are wonderful and the drinks are cold. We are looking forward to going back this spring when they reopen for the season. And I love that they stay open through... More

Took us a while to find this place, but oh was it worth it! Live music almost every night, great selection of beers, wines and cocktails, all outdoors on the pier right above the more remote part of South Nags Head beach and the ocean! Bar food that's pared down a bit but atmosphere to spare! Fun waitstaff! You'll want... More

Very busy for the last day of the season. We were told at check in this would be its last day so we hurried over. We enjoyed some good food and great view of the ocean.

Eat, drink, fish, relax, listen to live music all while the waves are crashing under your feet. Kids can play on the beach while the adults have a cold one. Great happy hour too!
