We went in close to closing time, but were not rushed. We got the royal treatment, which I believe is common at this establishment. Highly recommend the snickers brownie and Reese's brownie. Both were amazing!

Our whole day trip to Mt Airy, NC on 1/27/17 was due to a TV short done on this establishment. Our final stop was to pick up pastries, end our pleasant day and drive home. The day ended alright but not before we were reprimanded for not reading one of the 1500 signs in this store "...Ring the bell for... More

This is a small place but stays packed, some tables and lots and lots of takeout ordering, has a window to the ice cream place next door for pie a la mode, and there are quiches and other items and every kind of sweet pie in small sizes

This place is totally dreamy. We stopped for coffee and ended up having a Choc Brownie, which was superb and my hubby had a "small" Apple Pie. Big serving for a fantastic price. Really enjoyed my brownie tho I couldn't finish it. Go there if in Mount Airy, you won't be disappointed!!

Tried this spot while checking out downtown "Mayberry". It's run by friendly staff and offers a staggering array of desserts. We tried the cherry pie and strawberry rhubarb pies. Regrettably they look better than they taste. Lots of thick crust and limited fruit in a gelatin based filling. Not really home-made grandma style fruit pies. Felt more like a tourist... More

We've been raving about this bakery for years but were treated to a sample of oh so "heavenly" peach ice cream, made from their own orchard crop located a few miles away. Truly delightful and rich, with chunks of fresh-tasting peaches in each mouthful. Outstanding!

I could spend several days feasting in Miss Angels and be a very happy person. From her pastries to pies, this place is a must visit if you're in Mount Airy. JUst make sure you leave enough time in the morning before you leave for home to take a few treats with you for the trip.

We were tantalized by the muffins in the front window and the aroma of fresh baked goods wafting out the door. I'm a sucker for sweets so I just HAD to go in. They have a huge selection of brownies, bars, cookies, cakes, and pies but if you go to the very back there's a warming unit that has the... More

Lots and lots of great looking sweets. A huge variety. We tried a couple different items and they were good. The Apple crumb pie was excellent. Pricing is high. They obviously expect a large tourist trade. Worth a one-time visit.
