My son, daughter-in-law (DIL), grandson, granddaughter, and DIL's sister had THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE experience EVER. The waiter was lucky I was not with them. I would advise all my friends to never visit Bawarchi again. This waiter makes the place NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY. They...want you to leave if you have kids. This is unfortunate because I had visited this place about 8-10 times with my family (parents, kids, grandkids, etc). Always we had very good service and good food. Not today, Here's all that waiter did: 1) While in the middle of taking the order, the waiter slammed the menu/pad in disgust when my daugther in law was giving her order. 2) One waiter said it's fine when asked about my grandson roaming around, "He's just a boy" But Our waiter yelled at my daughter in law (DIL) when my son was roaming around. 3) When my grandson was giving his mother a hard time, the waiter was snickering, enjoying what was transpiring. Who does that??? Someone that has seem deep issues or deep rooted sentiment towards strangers. 4) Then that waiter told my son "Handle your children!" very rudely, AT this point my son was disturbed and took his kids to the car, 37 degrees outside in a cold night with 1.5 year old, waiting until my DIL and her sister ate. The sister was visiting from out of town and he didnt make a scene or ruin their evening. 5) While my son sat in the car, my DIL ate, and when she finished, my son came in and ate. 6) They left a $2 tip out of sheer pity for the shameful non-friendly rude waiter who has no idea what customer service is. Families, you have been informed, this was a miserable place to go with kids. Bawarchi, you provided our family a disgustingly disturbing hateful memory of visiting your establishment. For the sake of others, I hope you right yourself by learning from what transpired today.More

Sambhar was old, it was brought to their attention. New was brought and that was terrible. Chicken Tikka masala had chicken not fried and tasteless. I will never go there again and wont recommend this.

I went here with my coworkers during lunch one day. None of us had been here, but we decided to try it out. The inside was nice with cool lights and an upscale atmosphere, but it was a little cold inside. We sat down and...ordered, then waited a while before the first dish was brought out. Then about 10 minutes later, they brought out another dish. Then about 10 or 15 minutes later, they brought out two more dishes. I kept waiting and waiting for my food. After a while, my coworker asked when my food was coming out. The waiter told us it was about to be brought out, so it would just be one more minute. Then about 10 minutes later, I still hadn't received anything, so I asked again when my food would be coming out. They said they would bring it out soon, but I still had to keep waiting. It got to the point to where everyone at my table was almost finished with their food and I still hadn't gotten mine (I ordered a basic lunch option, so I got nothing fancy or different, by the way). By the time they brought out my food, I had been waiting almost an hour. Tables that came in after us all had their food and were eating, so I still don't understand why it took so long to order a basic lunch dish. I was starving at that point, so I eagerly tried the food. It was bad. The food tasted bitter and flavorless. I didn't like any part of my meal, so it was beyond disappointing to wait so long for something that didn't taste good at all. We had asked ahead of time if they could split the check up and the waiter said they could. When he brought out the check, everything was on one tab, so we went up to the front and asked if they could split it up. The man at the cash register seemed very confused and was taking a long time to ring up each of us. Long enough for one of my coworkers to offer to pay for us all. But finally the man got it figured out. When it got to my turn to pay, I let the man know that it took my food almost an hour to be brought out to me. He just stared blankly at me. I asked if I could get some sort of discount and he mumbled something and handed me the check. I finished up and left the restaurant for us to all start talking about how bad of an experience that was. We realized that they already added a tip to each of our tabs (not mentioning that to us in the process), but that they added a tip line to the receipt as well to make it look like they hadn't already added in gratuity. That seemed shady to us all. And then I looked at my receipt and saw that the man had only given me a 45 cent tip. Really? I waited an hour for my food, had horrible service, and was given tasteless food, only to get a 45 cent discount. I was expecting to not have to pay for the meal, given the circumstance, so that small of a discount is ridiculous. I will never go here again. Everyone in my party agreed they wouldn't either. I am beyond disappointed and frustrated at how this business is run. I would not recommend to anyone.More

We were there for lunch and food was ok. Certainly, As the name suggest it’s not good at all for Biryani. Not a good place in Cary for Indian Cuisine. We were disappointed.

I will never return to this place because they are not professional at all. I called them up to ask if their Biryani's contain cauliflower or not as my husband is allergic to it. I repeated the same question 3 times and all the times...the guy over phone confidently said that they don't add cauliflower in Biryani. So after getting a take out order from this place when I inspected the biryani, it contained big and obvious pieces of cauliflower. All I can say about this place is that they just want to make business. I would have definitely sued them in case my husband would have ate that biryani and gone sick. Apart from the cauliflower incident, the Biryani had big pieces of potato in it. Dude who the hell adds so much potato in a Biryani !!!! Overall my rating for this places is LESS THAN 1 STAR.More

I would never recommend Bawarchi. Worst service and low quality food. We had to wait 1 hr 15 min for a chicken biryani order. Like a fool we had been waiting for so long just to eat half cooked chicken dishes. Very pathetic service. When...we complained to the manager, he was grinning shamelesslyMore

Bawarchi Biryani Point is an Indian Cuisine located at Chapel Hill Road, Morrisville, North Carolina. Famous for Hyderabad Biryani, this restaurant also serves varieties of Biryanis, both Vegetarian and Non-Vegetaraian. We had ordered on line, chilli Paneer and Veg. Dhum Biryani. This was served with...Michi ka salan and Raitha. Both tasted good. The tradition in preparing biryanis is maintained. We had the feeling that we were in India and having Indian food.More
