We were very disappointed with J. Arthur's, after being told that the steaks in particular were excellent. My husband and I both had prime rib and it wasn't the worst prime rib I've ever had but it wasn't particularly good. The salad was just lettuce...More

Old dirty carpeting. Dark atmosphere. Strange decor; Christmas, Swan/goose replicas, Moving trolley, Transportation memorabilia on the walls. Cheap vinyl table clothes. High priced entrees ($40 ribeye?). We had the dinner salads ($10) plus the smallest blackened chicken breast I have ever seen ($5) and extra...More

I ordered the steak. It was ok but it wasn't worth $24.00. I had to 10 ounce NY Strip. Potatoes tasted like instant ones.Atmosphere was nice however and wait staff were good. My wife did say the pork chop was very good.More

To begin with, J. Arthur's is among the nicer longer establishments in the Valley. Granted appearances can be decieving (both good and bad) but the point being that curb appeal can get you to stop, and in our case it did. The Hostess, a charming...More
