From the service to the wine, to the Lobster & Shrimp Bisque, to the Filet entree, to the Strawberry Romanoff and coffee! This is an experience worth having, don't go in a rush or with plans, just some good friends and a lot of conversation!

RESTAURANT'S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 30 December 2016 via mobile

We saved the best for last. My husband and I visited Highlands the week after Christmas. After reading the reviews for Wolfgang 's we decided to make reservations. My husband and I are food snobs, so we love an excellent meal. The restaurant is very quaint. Our waiter was excellent. We had the lobster bisque soup. It was delicious! Not... More

My fish with the lime sauce was very good. I even flagged the bus boy down when I couldn't catch the attention of our waiter to bring additional sauce so I could sop up every bite of fish in that delectable sauce. My husband's Bavarian mixed platter was okay - nothing special.

While spending the weekend in Highlands NC, my wife, son, his girlfriend, and I had a wonderful dinner at Wolfgangs one Sunday night in April. Though it was not the high season, there was a good crowd in the restaurant. The food was wonderful, the service was excellent, the wine was very good and all in all we had a... More

We had a wonderful anniversary celebration with dinner at Wolfgang's. Food was outstanding, service excellent and atmosphere was great. I had a wonderful steak, cooked to perfection with sides that included macaroni with lobster (my favorite), hubby had fish special that was outstanding. Dinner was finished with dessert served with sparklers in honor of our celebration. Wolfgang's is our favorite... More

This time worn establishment is resting on it's laurels a little too much. The food was good - but not outstanding. The decor? Too 1990s. Music was awful - whatever station they were playing was schizophrenic going from Frank Sinatra (which is actually appropriate and pleasant) to the Jackson 5 to James Taylor to Disco and on and on.... Time... More
