Before visiting Wild Tyme i looked at all the Tripadvisor reviews of Highlands restaurants and decided that this would be our best option based on their menu and ratings . We were both extremely happy that we ate here . The service was very good...and my wife had the Salmon BLT and I had the special Lamb Burger with Feta . Both were cooked to perfection .More

We had a very bad experience at this restaurant and do not recommend it to anyone visiting the Highlands. We asked to speak with management and were told that the person she was being rude to us was the owner I can’t imagine visiting a...restaurant and getting such poor service and being Talk to the way we were talk to. The person was an Asian lady. If that’s her restaurant like she said it was I can’t imagine anyone else would want to eat there after Experiencing what we experience during our time there. So I do not recommend going there if you want a pleasant meal don’t eat thereMore

I loved this restaurant. The menu had so many options I had a hard time choosing. The service was perfect. Save room for dessert.

2 couples for lunch today. Had salmon blt, crispy shrimp and veggie sandwiches. All were well prepared and tasty. Was told we may have to wait 30 minutes, so gave us a beeper and we walked around the shops. Was buzzed within 15 minutes. Server...was fast, friendly and food served promptly. Well done!More

We were seated, a busboy brought us water and that was it. The waitstaff kept passing us by. No drink orders, no “are u ready to order?”, we were totally ignored.

Good service and small portions on both the salad and main course. I ordered the Chilean Sea bass at 44.00, it was very good but a very small portion. Pricing in the Highlands is above averages in restaurants. I live in Atlanta and I don’t...mind higher prices but expect decent portionsMore

While driving around Highlands around lunch time, I checked TripAdvisor and found Wild Thyme Restaurant with very good reviews. We were seated right away and had a great meal. I had a cup of the cream of mushroom soup (a soup of the day) and...the Warm Sesame Chicken Salad - snow peas, carrots and peppers stir fried with a ginger sesame sauce served over mixed green with plenty of bite size pieces of chicken ($12.95). My husband ordered the Grilled Portobello Sandwich - marinated Portobello mushroom with lettuce, tomato, dill pickle, mozzarella cheese and pesto mayonnaise on brioche bun ($11.95). We both took food away in to-go boxes and enjoyed the food again for supper.More

After dining at the more touted restaurants in Highlands, we happened onto Wild Thyme for an early dinner. We were absolutely blown away with the service, the quality and preparation of the food, the imaginative menu, and great wine list. Tucked into the corner of...a group of shops, you might walk right by this spot, but do yourself a favor and seek it out; you will not be disappointed. If you are, let Beau know! Next time we back in Highlands, this is our go to spot.More

Another couple joined my wife and me for our weekly dinner. We go to a different area restaurant most every week. We get to this particular restaurant a number of times a year and always have a very nice dinner. This is a family owned...and operated and you can tell they are passionate about their operation. The four of us all order different items from the menu. All of us were very satisfied with our selections. The salmon is always a favorite of our group although only one person ordered it this time. The pork chop is always a winner and the filet is excellent as well. We did not have appetizers but all had salads, each different. We all agreed the food was and is normally outstanding and the prices are certainly fair. We all thought our server while competent was not very warm. We have had others that seem a bit more personable. A very good job. I rate this restaurant about number 5 or 6 in Highlands. Of course there are some very outstanding restaurants in town.More
