This place was dabomb.com/incredible. The perfect atmosphere to catch up with old friends and down some hush puppies. Molly and Alexis were our guides to an exceptional experience and even explained what the "lunchmeat" was. I felt like a true southerner and that's a big deal coming from a native Californian like me! Can't wait to come back next year... More

I would give this an average rating for a BBQ place. It definitely wasn't the best barbecue we've had. Brisket was very dry. Service was slow even though they were not busy.

Made the mistake of going for the lunch special, brisket and gravy...mostly gravy. Slaw was ok, not bad, not the best ever. Onion rings were too greasy. My companion had the pulled pork, which was excellent, and hush puppies, also excellent. Stick to the basics and you will be happy!

We finally tried Ray's for the first time last night and weren't disappointed. The food was great and the brisket was fork tender and very, very lean and hickory smoked. The staff was very friendly and made us feel like part of the family. This is especially important to us since we have a special needs friend who accompanied us.... More

There is no atmosphere but if you want delicious food, friendly staff, very reasonable price, this is the place to go.

I tried Ray's when visiting the area, based on its write-up on Trip Advisor. I had the brisket, which had good flavor, but was slightly over cooked (tender, but had a grainy feel in the mouth). The sauce that was served with it was good, but to me, it was way too sweet to go with the brisket. On the... More

The BBQ is fantastic 👍 The sides taste like they were cooked in rancid oil the three different occasions I have tried them 👎 My solution is to buy a pound of BBQ to go and eat with my own sides at home 😀👍

We've been visiting Ray's for about 3 years now. I took my mom today for lunch. It was her first time there. She got the 1/4 lb hamburger and loved it. I ordered the brisket, which has never disappointed. I have also had the wings and the ribs and love both, as well as their onion rings. It's not a... More

We were passing through and decided to visit because of the reviews of the wings. They were different but delicious. But the best was the brisket. My husband makes the best beef brisket I have tasted and this was so darn close! I'd go again just for the brisket!

Thank Sara T

We are a small Independant restaurant. We focus on good quality food for a reasonable price. We have been in business since 1960. My Father started the business when he got out of the Air Force. We are always happy to let our new customers try a sample of our food before they order it.We work very hard to try to make you feel welcome. If you come on Thursday or Friday's we have Brisket, which is smoked for 17 hours, this is a must try if you like BBQ.
