Barbecue, hushpuppies, fried chicken, green beans, coleslaw, boiled potatoes. Can't go wrong with putting anything into your mouth. All great, tasty and satisfying. Oh did I mention the banana pudding. WOW! All good......

Well, I have had their take out before but was totally surprized about how nice the restaurant is, and the food quality was like home cooked, I had the fried chicken with superb sweet potato fries and fried okra WOW, is all I got to say. Clean, reasonably priced $$ and good service, I will be back and recommend this... More

First things first, this is your run of the mill American dive. It's a hole in the wall kind of place. But that doesn't stop the food from being delicious. Whether dining in or taking your meal to go, you will get a ton of food. Personally, I love to go and get the family style experience. They keep bringing... More

I usually don't do reviews, but I felt that this place needed one. We were there between the lunch and dinner crowd, the place was not busy at all. Upon entering, the placed smelled like a restroom. We stayed because we were hungry and we don't usually judge and walk out. However, the service was terrible. It seems like the... More

Of course everyone has differing opinions on BBQ and this restaurant always has a good crowd. But to set expectations, I am a long time fan of Parker's, Stephensons and Woodlands (Blowing Rock NC). Let's add in Kings, McCalls, Skyland and I think it's safe to say where my BBQ perspective lies. This restaurant just felt uncared for - not... More

Friendly staff and freshly cooked food = everyone in our group was happy. We ordered take out to go. Brief wait in line to order. Food was cooked right in front of us. Can't ask for fresher cooked food. The only thing we didn't like was the iced tea as it was very strong. Otherwise, everything was excellent.

Arguably Carolina Barbecue serves the best Eastern-style NC pork barbecue we've had in the Triangle area!! What a surprise when our server, Rebecca, came over to the table with a basket of complimentary pork skins!!! Oh my, they were excellent, and I haven't eaten pork skins since I was a child growing up in the country! We had the barbecue... More

They offer a great family style type of dinner. You choose the items you want for your family style. As food gets low and your family hasn't had enough you can "refill" for lack of a better term; at no additional cost. And no you're not able to have Togo trays, thought I'd mention that since someone else asked.

Great service. I'm told this is authentic Carolina style BBQ. It was good. Pulled pork. Comes with corn sticks and hush puppies. I'm a northerner so not sure what those were. Interesting to try. Good slaw. Also had black eyed peas where were fantastic.
