This place stays packed for a good reason. The food is reasonably priced and so good! Another Elkin restaurant that has a great variety on the menu! Cash only but again well worth a stop at the ATM prior to your visit!

Ribs were great! Friendly and helpful service! Perfect local atmosphere and Christian presence! It certainly is a place we would love to stop at again!

This place is an absolutely wonderful stop for a nice, quick bite to eat! I have eaten here on several occasions and have always thoroughly enjoyed myself. I would give this place ten stars of I could!

This is a local hotspot, for people that seem to have been in this area for a long time. The menu is pretty good, but everything I've even there has been so greasy. Maybe it is A regional thing, but not for me!

This is a great place to eat. I ate there with my dad last week. He had the flounder sandwich and I had the popcorn shrimp special and we were both pleased. I wish they would give customers their forks wrapped in plastic and let us open them. I don't like my fork touching the tray. But other than that,... More

They have seafood, burgers, chicken, etc... typical American food. Little on the greasy side but good. We love the Buffalo chips with ranch. But beware they only take cash!

Got directed here by the staff at the welcome center north of town, on the freeway. It is about 4 miles off the Interstate and I'm glad we made the effort. As far as NC "Q" I wouldn't give John Boys a "5" but it is good pulled pork and nicely seasoned. It does not take a lot of sauce...indeed,... More

I got a bbq sandwich with slaw and this is the most bland bbq I've ever eaten. It just wasn't good. Even after dumping an entire 2 oz cup of vinegar based sauce on it, it was still just not great. This was my first visit so I do not know how the other food is. (And no I am... More

Stopped for lunch after reading the reviews. We were not disappointed. Very wide selection. The BBQ was wonderful, as was the catfish. Others had sandwiches, and said they were great. A really good place to stop for a great meal.

Stopped in on Friday Night, for some BBQ. Forgot it was Fish Night. They serve burgers, BBQ and Fish Dinners. The place was hopping. Order in one line and then wait for your number to be called in another line. Large seating area. Food was good but average. Prices were good.

Thank Barbara B
