Stoped in for a birthday cake while in town for spring break. Not much variety left when we arrived and it was midday on a week day.

I don't like a lot of their stuff, but their cinnamon doughnuts are absolutely out of this world. Everything else I can do without, but those doughnuts are addictive.

Burney's deserved 10 stars on desserts alone. They sell breakfast and lunch as well, but the are well known for their delectable sweets that come in all shapes and sizes. Located in downtown Elizabethtown, they are in a standalone building that use to house a few more businesses but I don't know if those businesses are still open. There a... More

They have one of the better peanut butter cookies. Filled croissants are good but sweet! Had the chicken salad sandwich. Only 2.99 and pretty good.

I tried a chocolate chip cookie=soft and delicious. I tried a pastry cream filled crossiant and it was wonderful. Tried a doughnut and it as great. Everything I tried was outstanding. They had pies, cakes, cookies and pastries. They offer breakfast and a daily lunch special.

I've been eating with these folks for going on 20 years. Started eating with them in Lumberton, enjoyed many lunches and pastries. Had a supper breakfast and pastries there last Saturday at a great price. Highly recommend this establishment and I will go there or one of his other locations again.

Good pimento cheese sandwich. Chicken salad is ok. Desserts are sweet but tasty. I'm not a fan of the filled "croissants", but they are popular.

This was a bicycle trip in North Carolina, and I'd come across a pig picking cake a few days earlier (there's no pig in it -- but it's often eaten at a pig picking, or barbecue). So I was looking for a chance to buy one if someone else could carry it. This is where I found it. It's a... More
