It was ok food. Something to go and different I give it a thumbs up. Cashier was nice. Probably got mad I asked for soy sauce in which they did not have. Oh well

My husband and I went with a couple of my coworkers here for lunch today. We got the Express Lunch/Dinner and had Chicken Tikka Masala, Spicy Curry Chicken, vegetable rice and Naan. Everything was excellent! The Spicy Curry Chicken had some heat to it, but...was definitely not too hot. The Chicken Tikka Masala had a great flavor. This is not one of the restaurants near RTP that is just open for lunch during the week, they are open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner. We are glad of that, and are looking forward to coming back soon!More

I ordered the chicken masala, rice, and some naan. I spent a little over $13. The menu showed that you could get cheaper combination offers but it wasn't clear to me how that happened. I did get enough food for 2 meals, though. Everything was...well spiced but it tasted like it was a tad too overcooked. I will still try it again.More

I know my Indian food ... I was staying at a local hotel and decided to get a to go order of chicken vindaloo with rice, nan and a vegetable samosa. Where they the best I've ever had ? No ... but a solid 7/10....Excellent flavor with a good amount of spice although I would have liked a little more. Need Indian ? Give them a try, I think you'll be pleased you did.More

This is a nice little Indian restaurant. You come in, choose from the menu, and the lady serves up your food. There are different combinations, depending on price. They offer both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. We have been there twice and have tried a wide...variety of vegetarian dishes and a couple of dishes with chicken. All of the dishes were good. We particularly like the aloo gobhi, the paneer (cheese) dishes, and the mango lassi (drink). The service at the counter is not great, but the ladies are friendly and do try to help. The tables are simple and the decor is fairly bland for an Indian restaurant, but it is OK. They do not play Indian music; instead, they play western music. During our two visits, we happened to have noticed some of the more local people (we are from outside of North Carolina) experimenting with the Indian food with varying degrees of success. The ladies at the serving counter appear to be very patient in answering their questions.More

The food was good not great. The quantity was about right. A nice spot to stop and eat. The atmosphere was nice. Quiet music was playing in the background. A good spot for a nice lunch.

Curry Point Express is decent Indian food at a reasonable price. The food is not exceptional. By any means. But you get a decent meal at a decent price IF you order the express menu. I have eaten at this restaurant twice. Once I ordered...off the Express menu and found the meal to be good portions, decent food, adequate service and a competitive price point. For two entrée options, you can get out for under ten dollars. Not bad for Indian cuisine. The food was pretty good, but sort of what you would expect from a "fast food" or "express" type restaurant. Sort of like the Indian buffets that are ubiquitous in this area, but with a limited selection and no seconds. The second time I visited, they did not have anything I wanted on the express menu. I decided to order from the menu and opted for Murgh Chettinad, which his one of my favorites. It took quite a while for my meal to arrive, the price was quite a bit more than the express menu and the food was not all that impressive. I found the curry to be a bit one-dimensional. It did not have the exotic flavors I normally associate with Chettinad style curry. The service could have been better as well. Overall, if you need a quick lunch fix and have a taste for Indian, check it out. If they have stuff you like on the Express menu, you will find it to be a decent value. Just don't expect a lot beyond a filling meal and decent price point.More

Indian food priced economically and served in sufficient quantity with complementary onion pakoda. It has multiple options to plan single lunch based on appetite. Followed by masala chai.

This place is reasonably priced. Fine for a quick lunch and good value. However, the goat curry had no actual meat in it - just big bones which was a disappointment. The flavours were good.

I had ordered a Dosa and some chat....my friends who came with me had almost finished their dinner when the Dosa arrived, but it was crisp and delicious. The chat was equally good even if it could have done with a little more spice. Overall...a good place and I would definitely visit again if I am in the vicinity.More

Curry Point Express is very much what you would expect from a fast casual Indian joint. I've eaten in quite a few and what stands out about this one is that their Vindaloo is actually spicy! The staff is very friendly, helpful and efficient. Definitely...recommended. I will return occasionally.More
