Not sure what the hype is about this place. Except maybe the concept of ordering your food and eating in your car. The food was ago and good prices. The chili and slaw had good flavor but the burger it's self didn't have any flavor. Needed some seasoning. Fries where very good.

😱 was getting car repaired next door. Cash only, so I had to traipse to find an ATM . Was worth the traipsing and the wait! Larry., the owner, is a full on comedian! Nice unpretentious burger shack!

One of the best hot dog and hamburger joints in the state! Cash only and made to go, grab some extra napkins and pick a spot to sit on the curb because it's so good it never lasts on the ride home!

Blink and you'll miss this little hometown gem. Their rise to national fame was the garbage burger, but all of their selection is just as good if not better. Plan to wait a bit, its good food, not fast food. Parking is limited and it stays packed most days as there are no tables, people tend to eat in their... More

The place is located right on the Main Street and offers a great laid back vibe with all kinds of memorabilia on the walls. The burgers are amazing and come out nice and quick and very hot. You can taste the freshness of the meat. A basket of fries can easily serve 2 or 3 people. Wide selection of beers... More

Wimpy's is famous for offering a garbage burger. These were too large and messy for my lunch today. I saw one served to a college student and he had a blast with the tasty mess. I ordered a burger and a hot dog. The burgers are tasty quarter pounders. It tasted great and the topping option list was deep and... More

Best burger in the Durham area without a doubt! SO fresh & tasty, very reasonably priced and quick service. Just be aware that their hours are rather limited (open M-F 7AM-2PM), there's almost no parking, definitely no seating (most people eat in their cars or get the food to go) and they accept cash only.
