Came here for dinner with friends after seeing a show at DPAC. We opted to try several small plates and were not disappointed. A favorite were the wrapped dates. The service was excellent and our primary server was attentive and very pleasant. Make sure to...More

Went to Taberna before a show at DPAC. We had a reservation but it wasn’t too crowded. The service was great. Everything was fresh and the portions were perfect. The tuna tartar was amazing. Go on Sangria Sunday.

Great place and food. Went there with a group of friends and family. We ordered a few tapas and then a large paella. All the food had was great and the portions were plentiful. We also ordered a few deserts to share- all were great....More

The food was fantastic. Our family of eight ate steadily (and very very happily) for hours. Our favorites: well, the service. Goes without saying. (Thank you Sarah): The pepper stuffed with crab (brilliant) The bacon wrapped dates Meatballs Crocettas Salmon. We all needed naps....but only...More

The tapas prices are more in line with what an entree will run you at many restaurants, but the quality is very good. I'm not an expert on "authentic Spanish food" as some reviewers have dinged Taberna for, but the food is clever and very...More

Had dinner on a Saturday night, place was packed. Had a lot of the the usual spanish tapas dishes, but they were remarkably unremarkable. Drink service was good, but the dishes came out randomly over the next hour, we had to ask where the last...More

The only reason this place gets a 2 is because the food was served quickly. But the food itself is not authentic Spanish food. My family is from Spain and I’ve been there many times. Seriously...tortilla drenched with sherry wine? Also, thin pieces of steak...More

We met friends at Taberna for a evening get together. Parking can be a little difficult in Durham, so plan accordingly and use a parking deck. Parking validation would be a nice add to the restaurant. Our wait staff did their job very well, was...More

Read reviews and they were right! We had reservations before DPAC show, easy walk from parking garage. Immediately seated in requested quiet area. Started with arugula salad and then had paella with red wine. My husband shared the salad and had salmon cakes. We both...More

We try to visit the restaurant every month and we always receive an amazing service with well presented dishes full of flavors. Our recommended plate are paellas or pulpo (octopus) but all the tapas we have ordered have had an excellent quality. Recently they did...More

I am just a customer who lives a block away. You should call the restaurant and ask. As far as I know, they do not currently have customers eating outside on the sidewalk. However, I do know because the owner Chris has shown... More
