This is a nice place for lunch Bar seemed very nice. Food was good. Had large group and all liked their food. Fried Chicken and Grilled pimento cheese sandwich seemed to be the favorites. Cobb Salad was good but dressing lacked a lot of flavor.

The beers are on point at this joint. I had the deep river black IPA and for being my first night in Durham, it was great. The bartenders were nice and friendly and the sweet potato tots were delicious.

Another fun place to eat in Durham. Can eat out doors year round in heated or shaded outdoor space. Indoors can be noisy especially around happy hour. Not a large selection on the menu but predictably decent. Local Pasture Raised beef.

I've been 3x now for food and drinks! Excellent mixed drinks and beer selection. I've had the loaded fries with fried chicken and Bacon with melted cheese, cheese sauce, gravy, Srirachanaise and curry mayo (those are on the side)! HUGE portion and sooooo delicious! The fried green tomatoes are great, served with the Srirachanaise. Also, the goat cheese salad is... More

We stopped here before a concert at DPAC. Sat at the bar and the super friendly bartenders made the night. Expectedly good array of local brews, and hubby gave the Reuben enthusiastic approval. The Red Pepper Bisque was a treat too. Our favorite part was the open air bar and the Ginger Lemon cocktail with Habenero infused bourbon. Go get... More

I love the fact it's a renovated old gas station. But the menu is very limited, I had grilled pimento cheese. The fries that come with it are very soggy and were cold. Seating is also limited so you have to come early on the weekend. Wasn't impressed.

I wanted a quick, comfy dinner in a nice outdoor space and Geer St delivered. I don't know what's up with Durham and the pimento cheese but the sandwich I had at Geer St was pretty great.

We dine at Geer street Gardens often because of its proximity to our home and because it has a great outdoor space with picnic style dining that is pet friendly. Interesting mix of patrons from students to local hipsters to older foodies. Food is always fresh and reliable. Great salads and fantastic Reuben. Wish they would change up the menu... More

Geer Street Garden used to be one of our favorite places... We understand the owners have a new restaurant across town…so maybe this explains the total lack of attention. Glass doors throughout the space are filthy! Grime, dogs nose prints and little hand prints everywhere. Portions are getting smaller and smaller every time we visit and the lower end ingredients... A fun little restaurant in the Geer St hotspot. This place has some really unique items on the menu. We split "the Pile", accompanied by beers, which was just pure Southern indulgence.
