We enjoyed our first visit to Bull City Burgers. You have the option to build your own burger with some pretty fancy ingredients. So be careful with that, it adds up fast. We got the onion loaf to start. I was expecting an actual shaped loaf like I've gotten at other places that call it a loaf, it was just... More

The burger was nothing spectacular at all. Seriously, I know a good cheeseburger and this was not one of them. If its any consolation, the bun was worse than the burger. The only thing cool about the place was the $9.99 rubber souvenir cup. Don't buy into the hype.....sorry, but just be honest.

Great burgers, good beer, all local. A little too hipster for my taste, but the food is not a trend. It's quality. Skip the contrived menu options for the burger and get it how you lie it, no matter how the hipsters loon at you.

Great atmosphere and great food! You order at the counter and they bring you food to your table. Everything is made to order with several burger selections and multiple toppings. We had French and sweet potato fries, both yummy. Had one of the local brews which was very good. Staff very nice and restaurant is totally kid friendly. We were... More

My teenage son and I recently visited on a trip to Duke. The burgers were amazing, as well as the specialized soda offerings and beer. Great atmosphere, very relaxed, but not a pub feel (which we were glad about)! One of favorite restaurants in Durham.

All of the burgers and the french fries are very good. The veggie burger is my favorite. The sweet potato fries are outstanding. Great atmosphere and in a great location. Perfect for a quick meal and many options. Good for a night with friends or family.

Fun, casual place that strives to serve well-made food from good sources. My burger and fries were delicious and they even had gluten-free buns available. The beer was also good.

I visited on a busy Saturday evening. The line moved fast and atmosphere was fun. It was very family friendly. Food was excellent and reasonable priced.

I go to BCBB a lot. It's easy to bring parents for lunch, friends when you want to sit outside, or pick up the biker bar your. It's just easy all around. Good burgers with a lot of options.

This is one of my favorite places to eat in Durham. The crowds can be varied, so people-watchers beware you may not get a great show, but the food and beer are 100% top notch. With as many locally sourced ingredients as possible and almost everything being house made, you can't go wrong with anything except the pretzels. Really, stay... More

Description
Bull City Burger and Brewery is a locally owned, independent restaurant and craft brewery located at 107 East Parrish Street in downtown Durham, NC. We opened March 2011. The restaurant serves lunch and dinner 7 days per week with approximately 90 seats inside plus 60 seats of outside year round patio dining. We offer family friendly dining with a children's play area, as well as a semi-private meeting room for business gatherings, events and presentations all within full view of our own brewery. The restaurant is very much "farm-to-fork," working closely with North Carolina pasture-raised beef farmers supplying beef with no added hormones and antibiotic-free, that we grind daily to make our hamburgers and all-beef hotdogs. We work with other farmers growing vegetables such as tomatoes, cucumbers for pickles, and lettuce. The menu is streamlined with nearly everything produced on-site including house made buns, sauerkraut and bacon. We use no artificial sweeteners, no high fructose corn syrup, and no hydrogenated oils. We like to say we are like fine dining in a burger joint. We make the mustard, the slaw, the pickles, the mayo, the aioli, the hotdogs, the relish, the...
