The burger was amazing, the environment was so cool! I really enjoyed all the signs. I built my own burger and I really liked the flavors! I also got a sweet potato and it was very delicious. I wish they had one in Michigan, I would be a frequent customer!

We had a great experience there, the beers are good and the burgers are artisanals with great buns and good side options. The service is really friendly and the price is good. The tables are communal, sometimes is hard to find a spot where you can seat.

Food was pretty good but a little pricey. Too much salt on the fries. The hot dog may have been 100% beef but it was low quality--lots of fat and some gristle. Everything tasted alright. My biggest complaint is the cheap dinnerware. The fork had a thin, sharp handle and the metal plate was beat up so bad it really... More

We knew when we scored a parking spot directly in front, that we were in for a treat! We opted to sit at the bar vs placing our order at the back. We weren't familiar with the beers and wanted to sample. They have a 3 flight minimum but I think that if you wanted to sample (like 1 sip)... More

We stopped in with a party of 7 for lunch and enjoyed ourselves immensely. Grab a menu and order at the counter. Then, they bring you your food while you sit at long wood tables. In addition to their great variety of beer, they also have fun soda instead of the usual Coke and Pepsi stuff. Great fried pickles! Lightly... More

I like the layout with the long tables. Makes it easy to get groups of all sizes together. I went on a Friday night and there was a decent crowd but still plenty of places to sit. Lots of cool memorabilia on the walls. The beer was great. Didn't try the food yet.

I've really wanted to like this place, but I just can't get past the fact that I've never had a better than average burger here. I've been here quite a few times now for a variety of occasions, and the burgers are just not that stand-out. Many places in Durham offer better - I'd opt for Only Burger over this,... More

We made our first visit to Bull City Burger and Brewery on a recent trip to Durham. We wanted to grab a quick bite to eat and this place was great! Located downtown, in an area that is going through a renaissance of sorts. Parking was easy to locate (we visited after they stopped charging for parking), and the walk... More

This is a great little place in downtown Durham-lots of brews of their own and fell-brewers' making, with a good selection of burgers and other local foods

Description
Bull City Burger and Brewery is a locally owned, independent restaurant and craft brewery located at 107 East Parrish Street in downtown Durham, NC. We opened March 2011. The restaurant serves lunch and dinner 7 days per week with approximately 90 seats inside plus 60 seats of outside year round patio dining. We offer family friendly dining with a children's play area, as well as a semi-private meeting room for business gatherings, events and presentations all within full view of our own brewery. The restaurant is very much "farm-to-fork," working closely with North Carolina pasture-raised beef farmers supplying beef with no added hormones and antibiotic-free, that we grind daily to make our hamburgers and all-beef hotdogs. We work with other farmers growing vegetables such as tomatoes, cucumbers for pickles, and lettuce. The menu is streamlined with nearly everything produced on-site including house made buns, sauerkraut and bacon. We use no artificial sweeteners, no high fructose corn syrup, and no hydrogenated oils. We like to say we are like fine dining in a burger joint. We make the mustard, the slaw, the pickles, the mayo, the aioli, the hotdogs, the relish, the...
