Great food. Professionally friendly atmosphere. Sat at the bar and loved the show! I had the fried seafood plate. Way too much to eat, but i ate it all anyway. The scallops were the best.

Quick stop for lunch while waiting for our house. We've been satisfied with many places here and this place is another. The reason for the review is that even in the off-season, the food was prepared quickly, it was fresh and it was flavorful. The menu was surprisingly complete as was the bar menu. The wait-staff was friendly enough and... More

Scallops were delicious! Not too much breading and it fell off, since they were freshly breaded. Great food and service!

We always eat at North Banks and have never been disappointed. We usually have seafood - very fresh.

Enjoyed a few appetizers (steamer shrimp, crab dip, and hush puppies) and cocktails at the bar. Drinks were refreshing and the appetizers were delicious! Everything fit just what we were looking for on a spring break evening!

Stopped by on our way to see the wild horses. Husband said this was the best food he had during our trip. He had a snapper sandwich and loved it. I ordered scallops on a stick from the appetizer menu because I wasn't very hungry. There were very good. My daughter had a grilled chicken sandwich which she enjoyed. We... More

Every time, which is about 4 times a year, we always stop at North Banks for great meal. There seafood bar or their meal menu is just not matched in freshness and variety than any other restaurant in the area. The wait staff is efficient and friendly. Although the place is not large, you never feel rushed to leave.

I visited this restaurant twice while I was staying in the Outer Banks and both times the food was excellent. I had the Mixed Grill and Bouillabaisse which were great.

My husband ordered a Margarita with cucumbers (yes, cucumbers) and liked it so much we returned the next night so he could enjoy another. The waitstaff was awesome both times. I have mixed reviews about the food. I don't recall ever sending food back, but I sent the chowder back. It was so thick, a spoon could stand up in... More

Neet little local pub. Upper deck on backside of shopping center, but don't let that fool you. Food and service top notch. Tables along wall across from bar with a little side nook with seating for 6 at 2 tables. Nook faces sound so you can sort of see the sunset. Staff very pleasant and eager to please.
