A pleasant dinning experience with good selections of entrees, wine and appetizers. Service was very sharp and conversation was a bit difficult due to the enthusiasm of the room with great company and excellent flavors. The Pan Fried Chicken, Mac n Cheese, Butter Beans (in season?) and Biscuits are none better any where else. "Drop the mike" outstanding meal at... More

This is a great restaurant, delicious comfort food served with style. But to charge $1.00 per biscuit and corn bread is absolutely crazy!!! I think this practice should be reviewed and changed.

My wife and I stopped in during our overnight in Charlotte. We both ordered the pan fried chicken with macaroni & cheese, sautéed mushrooms, cornbread, and potato salad. Everything was excellent! I left feeling happy and uncomfortably full. We'd definitely stop in again. It can be a little pricey though.

This is a non profit restaurant that employees individuals who otherwise may not be able to gain employment. We absolutely love the ministry this restaurant provides. Its for a wonderful cause. We made a reservation on a Friday night at 6:30 and by 7pm it was almost packed so if going on a weekend I recommend a reservation.

I got the fried chicken, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, green beans and biscuit. My take-out order was ready in under five minutes. Glad that I went, the food was great.

We had quite an adventure getting to The King's Kitchen and, although we were soaking wet and tired, the staff treated us like queens. The food was awesome; the staff exceptionally well informed and the experience was simply incredible. Definitely will go again.

Great southern food, prepared very well. Really good service. Nice open dining room and decor. Good, reasonably priced wine list.

They were closing but allowed us to come in. I wish there was a restaurant like this in NYC!! Can't wait to go back again.

The food here was absoutely divine. Fantastic service and a great modern atmosphere. This non-profit restaurant offers a lot of services to the tougher neighborhoods in Charlotte and holds church services on Sundays. The pimento cheese appetizer, tomato soup, and tri-tip steak were particularly good. I recommend this modern downtown restaurant to EVERYONE!!! If I could give them a 10-star... More
