We had a group of 10 for lunch. Great food. Great service. Amazing vegetables! All fresh. All high quality. Worth every penny.

A unique, non-profit restaurant which trains the "unemployable" to learn a vocation, while bestowing 100% of profits to feed the hungry. You can feel good about yourself by patronizing this place. Now, the actual dining experience is great, too. We sat outside and people watched as this is located one block from Charlotte's "Trade & Tryon St" center of town.... More

Visited based on reviews and we were blessed to dine here. Downtown location within walking distance of many hotels. Great menu choices with specials and local craft beer on tap. Our server, Drew, was very helpful and attentive. We chose the pot roast and the shrimp and grits. Sides were delicious! Both meals were wonderful - served quickly and nicely... More

Went here after a recent Hornets game. Restaurant was a little loud as we were seated close to a large party. Our server, Harold, was very attentive and we enjoyed talking with him. He helped make the meal a memorable one. Had the pot roast and three sides. The meat could have been a little warmer upon arrival at the... More

We arrived late night, food was excellent as well as the service. If I am correct, the servers were homeless before being brought in to wait tables. Very impressed!

My wife and I come to town about 2 times a month during basketball season and we are always on the hunt for some good food when we are in town. While out for a morning walk we saw the Kings Kitchen and looked it up on yelp. I'm happy we went to the kings kitchen. The staff was super... More

My husband and I ate here while in town at a conference. The food was beyond compare and Harold, our server could not have been better! The price was what I considered low for the quality of decor, food and service. I would recommend this place to everyone. The bonus is their mission to help the community in which they... More

We went with another couple ahead of a visit to the Charlotte Symphony. The food was very good. The sweet potato fritters were a phenomenal appetizer and everyone's entree was good. The greens were amazing and really made the fried chicken entree. Service was great. Our waiter, Terrell, was attentive and very helpful with making sure we weren't rushed but... More

The Kings Kitchen is absolutely my favorite place to eat when in Charlotte. The food and service is excellent. The pot roast and fried chicken is the best! I usually don't like creamed corn, however, there's is great. They also have a good selection of wine and alcoholic beverages. This is also a non profit restaurant that helps people get... More
