We were there for a special birthday and the evening could not have been better. The wait staff was excellent, attentive and not intrusive. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave excellent tips about the main courses. The wine choices were good and the wine steward was excellent in his knowledge of the wines and its origins.... More

Place was hopping. Good selection of wines and bourbons. Salads very very good but not great. (Not out of Food Lion bag as someone said). Wife ordered her filet blue, mine rare, and they got them right, they were very tender. Brussel sprouts were excellent, 2 x baked potato so-so. Value not so bad. Did not get our server's name.... Steak was way overpriced. Have had great steaks in Veags, LA, NYC, and Palm Springs for less money. Salad was from a bag from Food Lion as was bread. Sauces were terrible and ruined the crappy steak anyway. Service was pretentious as if this were a true gourmet place. One of the ice creams tasted exactly like a bar of... More

Enjoyed having dinner here. I was looking for a place that served good steak and this was one of the higher rated restaurants. I had a salad and the filet and they were both excellent. I recommend making a reservation and allowing yourself time to enjoy your meal and the atmosphere. They have a friendly staff, full bar and many... More

This is one of my favorite places to eat in the Triangle. It's a high-end steak house. I don't eat meat but love the food here. Lovely ambiance and topnotch service. Took my college kids here for a celebratory meal and the experience couldn't have been better. A great place for a special evening.

It was our pleasure to help you celebrate, and we hope you give us the opportunity to celebrate many more special occasions in the future. We will always be able to accommodate those that don't eat meat, such as yourself. Thank you, again. More

Overpriced!! The beef is of high quality but who still eats 15-18 oz steaks? Really! Call them Kobe or Angus Prime, they are absurdly priced unless, of course, you are on a business travel budget when there is no limit and you can gorge yourselves on beef. Having said that much negative stuff, I still have more. The serving staff... More

Enjoyed dinner with the girlfriend and her parents. Everything was delicious except, interestingly, the dinner rolls were conspicuously dull. Petite filets tasted very good, although (to me) it was a turn-off they were pre-sliced. Maybe just to confirm they were cooked as requested? In any case, I have never seen that before. Anyway, sides were all very good (asparagus, lobster... More

Thank you for your feedback. It is the only way we can improve on any areas in which we are not the best. We slice our filets only for the purpose of presentation. We do not slice any of the other cuts, NY Strip, Porterhouse, etc. Upon your next visit, please request to have your steak served to you without... More

Really- you will ever find a better crab cake. All crab- makes you wonder what binds it together . . . But it doesn't matter as it is the one against which to measure all others.

Thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the crab cake as much as you did. We also feel it is the best crab cake in North Carolina. I can't divulge the secret to binding it together on here, but if you ask me next time you are dining with us, I would be happy to tall you about it. We look... More

I travel and frequently try different steak houses. This place came recommended to me while i was in town. The place has a great atmosphere. There were a lot of people and the ambiance is like how I expect a nicer establishment to be. Started with the calamari which was cooked perfectly, however, the amount of garlic is astounding. It... For a fantastic steak, Bin 54 is the place to go. Hands down the best meat available that is cooked to perfection over a real wood fire. I recommend the bone-in ribeye for the carnivores out there. Wine list is decent and desserts are top notch as well. Can't go wrong here.

Thank you, CM. The bone-in ribeye is definitely the most flavorful steak we offer on the menu. We often feature Wagyu and other bone-in cuts as well. Hopefully, you can come back and give one of those a try sometime soon. More
