Can' t go wrong with good BBQ. This place has been a fixture in north side of Chapel Hill. A BBQ plate includes pork, hush puppies, slaw and more. Price is appealing. Small plate will satisfy most adults; large plate for hungry appetites. Staff friendly and...More

Did BBQ twice on my trip to Chapel Hill. Much preferred The Pig to The Pit (see my separate review of The Pit). The Pig has a luncheonette/fast food feel to it, with tables inside and out and seats at the bar. There's one cashier/waitress...More

As I have gotten a little older, I have frankly been a little pickier with BBQ. While most BBQ places in North Carolina do a fine job with pork butt/shoulder, other items have been at times a little ambitious or disappointing. My family and I...More

As repeat customers at THE PIG, my buddy and I got a pork cheek sandwich with pickles and several sides: fried okra, hushpuppies, Brussel sprouts. The cheek sandwich was a mess, but in a good way- strips of meat kept falling out of the bun,...More

You catered a wedding Saturday night at Snipes Farm. Best food ever at a wedding. Best beer selection. What was the Hefeweizen. I loved it.

I believe it is Lonerider Shotgun Betty Hefeweizen. I'd call The Pig just to be sure. The website for the brewing company is Loneriderbeer.
Do they use any peanut oil or peanut products in anything?
