If you're ever in Carolina Beach you've gotta go to Pops Diner!!! Absolutely the best Hot Dog and tater tots either of us have ever had! The fried footlong hot dog was huge! Nothing skinny about it! More like eating a sub! Their tater tots are homemade and are round, about the size of a golf ball! We got them... More

Ordered the double dinky and a reuben for the wife, both spot on and very prompt service! Highly recommended.

The desert was great just add walnuts. The Italian sub my wife had wasn't very good. She left half of it. Bread was stale and the dressing had some seasonings added that were not Italian. Would return for desert only.

I love POP'S! You will never go wrong with the grilled cheese, cup of soup and a drink for $7.50. The server was telling me they usually have 4-5 HOMEMADE soups daily which is so awesome on a chilly beach day. She also said they constantly are switching them up so the variety is great. The menu is huge, and the... More

Pop's has basic food, but it tastes good and Pop's offers the nostalgia of an old-time diner. It's an all around fun experience.

I have eaten here many times and make it a point to stop in at least once each time I am in the area. It is actually located in Carolina Beach, not Wilmington. The parking is a bit restrictive but since you should be walking the area anyway, not a big deal. The food is old fashioned hamburgers, hot dogs... More

The ambiance is kind of cute, meant to resemble an old-time diner. It does not have a whole lot of seating inside and it felt a bit grimy - not really dirty, but didn't feel clean either. The menu is very typical of a diner, but adding some seafood options like a Po'boy. The service is average, as the wait... More

Great little place to have lunch or dinner. Food is amazing and quick. The style is great! Staff are very nice. Did seem like they may have been having too much fun in the back.

I look at the boring menu and think "burger can't be bad", WRONG! I ordered tater tots home made seemed like a great idea, wrong again. Everything was disgusting. I was there for 5 minutes and left. The heavily tattooed maitre d didn't have enough sense to think that something may be wrong. Go hungry, you'll be much happier.
