Probably the best we had to eat on the island. Bar, food and service was great. Husband said the bathrooms were spotless.

My husband & I ate here on Sept 10th. We had never been here before, but we stopped as our favorite place wasn't open on Sunday. I remember back in the late 70's this building was a KFC. Anyway, we both got shrimp, which was...More

This place is out dated and over priced. We just weren't impressed with the menu offerings or the food. It was great but it wasn't bad but it was expensive. Probably won't eat here again.More

I'm disappointed our seafood wasn't able to wow you over, Karen. When it comes to quality, we only serve the freshest fish to our guests and therefore have to price accordingly. Thanks for giving us a shot, and I wish you all the best. Sincerely,...More

We are rather conservative when we vacation...normally we make our own favorites while vacationing. However, after a full day we opted to go out and after much research we decided to drive down to Buxton and visit Diamond Shoals. Boy am I glad we did...More

We ordered a meal to go. The staff was very accommodating. The fisherman platter was enough for two. The award winning chowder was disappointing.More

Though I'm happy our service and fisherman platter were a joy to you, Stephen, I'm bummed our chowder let you down. It's usually a major hit over here, and I'll be sure to check in with my kitchen to see that it's being prepared perfectly....More

You will quickly learn there aren't many options for meals in this area. While Diamond Shoals certainly doesn't stand out, I suppose it rates as consistent. The menu consists of the typical fried seafood options as well as a few soups, a salad bar, chicken...More
