This place is really neat. The food was good, not great. I was expecting the food to blow me away. It was average. Nothing spectacular. Although the banana pudding was delicious! Staff was friendly and efficient. Like taking a step back in time. I would...More

We ate here Friday night, it was sooo good, so we decided to go again for breakfast on Sunday! Be prepared to wait, because everyone knows it's good!

You cannot go to Boone without eating here! This place is the best. The family style food here is delicious! Our waiter was great and the food came out quickly.

Even though it was the exactly the same food as we eat at home all the time it was exceptionally good!! Plus the old dinnerware and atmosphere make it a great place to eat

My review is probably biased because I was raised in the South and my grandma's cooking is just so much more authentic! Go for the experience and the extra friendly staff. It really is a nice place and my husband and I were absolutely stuffed...More

The wait was not very long. We were told 25 minutes, but it was only about 15 minutes. No matter, it was well worth it. The host was pleasant and the waiter was awesome. The food, especially the country style steak and fried chicken; which...More

Yes! You need cash. There is an ATM available but I believe it has a fee.
