Six of us, including two young granddaughters, had a fantastic breakfast. Grit cakes, biscuits with gravy, pancakes - even the little girls yogurt, granola, and fruit - so yummy! Coffee refilled before our cups were half empty. Our orders came out so fast - no one had a chance to get restless. A perfect breakfast experience!

Loved getting to hang out with my wife here. The atmosphere is really cool. The food was ok as my potatoes were not warm. The sausage and biscuit were delightful!!!

Lousies' Kitchen is my favorite little breakfast place in Black Mountain and probably Asheville also.

If you are looking for a quiet, calm spot for breakfast, do not go to Louise's. This restaurant is packed with people enjoying a delicious breakfast and chatting with friends. It might be less crowded if you could sit outside, which we couldn't because of the cold weather. Anyway, the big boy burrito is huge and tasty as was the... More

Really cool old house serves as this complete establishment. I had the Big Boy Burrito modified the way I wanted it (they didn't mind at all). Wow....fresh, tasty, and hearty! The Challah French Toast looked AWESOME and I will do that next time. What a find!

The wife and I came here for breakfast before we went to Asheville. The wait wasn't that bad. The food was really good. It definitely has a local feel and taste, so if you're used to Bob Evans, you'll be disappointed. Highly recommended.

Not good food. Not a comfortable place to go. It didn't seem very clean and the servers did not seem to like being there.

We visited Louise’s Kitchen for the first time in late January. We visited Louise’s Kitchen the second time on the next morning! We’re “variety is the spice of life” people, but the food was way too good and we wanted to try some of their other menu items. We have a 17 month son, so we always enter any restaurant... More

Went to Black Rock because it was a backdrop for a BOOK I was reading, and wanted to see the layout of the town, Very quaint, many things t o see and a lot of unique shops to browse through. For lunch, we stopped at Louise's Kitchen from a tip from one of the store keepers. A farmhouse, turned into... More
