Great location - no complaints on that. On business here and looked at trip advisor. Rated #1?? Older hostess was a little dismissive.. I had been traveling all day and not dressed up. Server OK but not engaging and never looked at me while talking. Cocktail was good, nothing special. Food took a while, evening appetizer special of tuna bites... More

A good restaurant right by the water. The wine list is on the low end, but they allow you to bring your own wine ($10 corkage but well worth it). Okay beer selection. The steamed shrimp were superb. Scallops were perfectly cooked and tender but (note to the cook) no imagination on the sauce; they just poured barbecue sauce on... More

We ate a crabby lunch today. We split everything and were very pleased with the food. Started with the crab cakes, crab and corn soup, finished with a pita crabcake sandwich. On the way out stopped at the bakery for a Napoleon to eat later. Prices were reasonable, food was very good. Crab cakes were almost as good as Chesapeake... More

Loved Lori in the bar! Food was wonderful and large portions! View was incredible. Watch boats go up and down the creak trailed by dolphins. Great service good time.

Had a really nice dinner at The Spouter Inn. We sat on the patio out back which was beautiful with the views of the water - we even saw dolphins in the water!! Jessica was waiting on us for the evening and she was fantastic! So sweet and very attentive. We would request her again next time. Two of us... More

This restaurant is wonderful. The food is delicuous, the staff polite and knowledgeable. The bakery is delightful. Love to sit out on the deck in the summer. We come here every time we are in Beaufort.

There's a bakery in front and the items on display looked great. Even though this place was a little pricier than we were hoping, the selection looked good. My father-in-law loved his shrimp and grits, but my scallops parmesan which I expected to be light was loaded down with cheese and made the whole dish way heavier than I think... More

Reservations are needed in order to get seated within a short time.We ate dinner in the bar area. The crab chowder was very tasty. The scallops parmesan was to die for.

Decided to have dinner with my 18 year old daughter (Father-Daughter evening) at The Spouter Inn. We made reservations for 7:15pm to eat on the outside covered deck area. Arrived 30 minutes early and were happy to wait as needed- however, a kind and considerate hostess said our table was ready and accompanied us out to a perfect table overlooking... More

Dinner was delicious. Corn and crab soup to start and flounder stuffed with crab for the main course. The soup was thick, creamy and filled with corn and crab. The suffed flounder was loaded with crab and covered with a light white sauce. It was all very very good. I only have one regret, we were too full to have... More
