Upon arrival we were informed the "Award winning" chef had prepared a special "From the Chef's table" menu. Nothing to brag about based on our experience. Our party of 6 ordered 2 Filets, 1 Pork Tenderloin and 3 Trout over greens with lemon caper butter sauce. The 2 filets were very good. However our experience went down hill from there.... More

As we approached the door, we were met with an open door and cheerful greeting. However, this greeter was not allowed to seat us and had to walk to the back of the restaurant to track down a woman walking around with an iPad. After referencing her iPad, she informed the greeter of our table location. We then followed the... More

We went for a family birthday celebration. Three of our party of six ordered trout with lemon caper sauce with a port reduction served over greens, note that this was an entree and not a salad. When it came out, the plate felt as if it had been in the refrigerator. The fish was served over mashed potatoes with 4... More

The best restaurant in the high country. So happy they are expanding. We have been eating here for years and never have been disappointed. Also the staff is very accommodating especially Victoria and Scott. We can show up for a late lunch/early dinner and no problem. Looking forward to seeing the new facilities and enjoying the food. Keep up the... More

It had been a while since I ate here, only because it is about a 40 minute drive but each time we return, the food is excellent. We came for Sunday brunch, beginning with Bloody Marys, which were good. I had the best Shrimp & Grits ever (creamy grits with proscuitto), which comes with roasted potatoes. My husband had the... This is a popular place but on the night we recently visited, inside seating was at a premium but outside seating was available. The food was great and the staff was attentive. This is a good local place to try if you enjoy Italian.

This was my second meal at Sorrentos in 4 days. Obviously, I like the food here. My first trip was an appetizer meal at the bar - Barada mozarella with tomatoes and a crab cake in lobster sauce. Both were delicious. The second meal was with a friend. We both had the lamb chop special. The chops were really double... More
