My husband and I dined at this restaurant four times, each time because someone else in our party wanted to try it. We also came for the happy hour many times. The $1 oysters for the happy hour is a great value and the only...reason we keep returning. The wine by the glass is poured very generously. Octopus appetizer is delicious. This is where the positive ends. The food is really bland. Shrimp in any preparation just tastes boiled. Fish and seafood often smell way too fishy, not the way fresh seafood should smell. Even if we didn’t order it ourselves, we can smell the unpleasant aroma in the restaurant. The bartender doesn’t know how to make mixed drinks. It is not easy to mess up a simple martini, but she managed to do that. The sangria is strong but way too sweet and has no fruit flavor. I saw the fruit being added just before the sangria was poured. That is not how a proper sangria is done. My husband’s family is from Spain, and we travel to Spain almost every year, so I am very familiar with the authentic Spanish food, and this restaurant is a disappointment. ,More

We came here with 3 friends recently and we're once again quite happy with our experience. While we had to make reservations and arrived right before the early bird special was over, we were well served despite the blatant attempts to rush us off. They...did not offer a dessert for example, but when we asked for it they were happy to oblige. Otherwise, the food and service was pretty good as usual. Appetizers included the patatas bravas, the chorizo, the empanadas and the fried manchego. The fried manchego and the patatas bravas were a hit with our group. Mixed opinions were had on the chorizo. The empanadas were okay. We were all very happy with our entrees; they included the shrimp in lemon sauce, the salmon in lemon caper sauce, the meat paella and the paella valenciana. Those who tried it also enjoyed the ice cream. Our group enjoyed a passionfruit sangria pitcher as well.More

We ate at Sangria 71 for the first time, and were happily surprised by the lovely outdoor setting with tables spaced apart (big consideration with Covid), attentive service, and varied menu choices. Although we ate outside in the tent, the inside space appeared to be...stylishly decorated and the tables seems to be spaced apart as well. My wife and I shared the Salmon with lemon caper sauce - nice portion, perfectly grilled - and the paella valenciana, a nice combo of chicken, chorizo, mussels and clams over a large mound of rice. There was also a complimentary salad included. We shared a delicious dessert of bocce tartufo, large enough for four to share. The pitcher of Sangria, and the wines by the glass were reasonably priced, so it was a lovely evening and we will be back.More

Had to follow up our first visit with a second visit so soon because we liked it so much the first time. Loved the passion fruit sangria while the mango sangria was just okay. For appetizer, we really enjoyed the chorizo. Definitely enough for two....Otherwise we did the carne paella and filet of sole again. As good as the first time! Next time will try something different!More

We just had our first meal at Sangria 71. We were very happy with the experience. They were attentive and service was very good. For appetizers we had patatas bravas along with the bacon-wrapped scallops on pineapple wedges. We also had the paella de carne...and the filet of sole for entrees. My wife got the three-course meal and her salad was included; I went a la carte. We thought the 3 course prix fixe meal was a very good deal for the money. Looking forward to returning and trying more on the menu because we were so happy with our meal.More

Reservations required. Difficult street parking. Nicely decorated. Extensive menu. Willing to adapt entree prep for individual requests. Pleasant wait staff. Well prepared and nicely presented. Definitely worth giving it a try.

We came to Sangria 71 as a family following a wake. They were ready for us to serve @40 people, and did it quickly, efficiently and with class. The food options were amazing and the portions were huge. Their white sangria is really good. The...service was excellent and the whole team was eager to help and make sure our visit was pleasant. I would highly recommend.More

I visited this restaurant with my girlfriend for Valentine's Day. We ordered several dishes and they were all fantastic! Baby Lamb Chops, Beef Empanadas, Chilean Sea Bass with Scallops and Spinach, New York Strip Steak with Yellow Rice, Paella Valenciana and Passion Fruit Sangria. We...enjoyed everything and will definitely be returning soon.. My only concern was that it was difficult for me to find parking.More

Second visit...not as rewarding as the first. Tapas were excellent...main courses a bit disapointing. Arriz con pollo was dry and flavorless. M>y wife's chcken villaroy was ok. Service was good, noise level ok...ambiance ok, prices reasonable.

Went recently for dinner and really loved our authentic meal. Had Shrimp with rice. Husband had Chicken Villeroy. He is still raving about it. Will definitely go back.
