My cousins took my husband and myself to try their food as I had never had Indian food and my husband had it in NYC but it wasn't spicy enough for him. We went on a Monday evening because we didn't want to be near a ton of people with Covid, it worked out great there were only 3 tables being used the rest of their business was for take out.
Our server was Aisha, she was super sweet very friendly and patient with all my questions. I told her I had never eaten Indian type of food and that I didn't like real spicy things, she told me they would make to my liking and helped me pick out a dinner she thought for my first visit I would enjoy. I had the chicken tikka kabab with the rice which was delicious and you got so much chicken the pieces were huge. My husband ordered the chicken curry medium with a side of hotter sauce. He really liked what he ordered and then we of course had the non bread.
It wasn't very busy as I stated but we were able to enjoy our time talking with my cousins and the food was not rushed out of the kitchen.
We then ordered dessert which we got the Gulab Jamun, which is two doughnuts in a thick syrup. I was expecting 2 regular sized donuts with a syrup drizzled on the top, however when we received it, it was like two donut holes soaking in the syrup, it was ok, portion very small for the money and it was way sweeter than I thought it would be, not what I expected. I should have stuck with the ice cream I wanted to try, but the deliciousness of my dinner out weighed the just ok dessert,
I would have given 5 stars however my only issue was we were never asked for a refill on our drinks, she never asked the 2 guys if they wanted a second beer so when their beer was gone they drank their water, and as we finished she never took the empty plates off the table as we waited for dessert, so we had no room for our hands we had to keep our hands in our laps, removing dirty dishes is standard serving 101, it made it a bit uncomfortable, she finally took a couple dirty plates when she brought dessert.
The owner did come out of the kitchen to chat and see how we enjoyed our dinners as he was the cook for the evening, very nice guy. Nice of him to take time out to chat with his guests.
It was a great first experience for me to try Indian food on a night that wasn't super busy we felt very comfortable in there during Covid we were spaced out and everything was great.
I would love to go when they can bring the buffet back so I can try many things without ordering a full meal not knowing if I will like.

We are frequent visitors for the lunch buffet. Everything is great and you get to sample a wide range of foods. On a recent visit my wife dropped her phone. When I called over they went out and looked in the parking lot and found it. Much appreciated!

My wife and I are fans of Indian cuisine and tried Kabab & Curry recently. It was superbly prepared - the best Indian food I have had in many years. We tried the Tandoori Dinner (sampler of Tandoori items) and Makhani (mild). Oh my goodness, what a delicious feast. Plenty of spice for my taste but not too spicy for my wife. We will be back.

First off the entrance to this place smells like a porta potty and the handle to the doors are filthy as you walk inside, real bad impression. The waiter was horrible we literally had to to pour our own water because he was know where to be found 90% of the time we were their and there was literally 4 people in the dining room.
They advertise on line Tuesdays and Wednesdays lunch Buffett is 18.99 but I was charged $21.95 then when I asked they gave me some website bologna story bottom line HONOR your advertised price. My friend had a glass of Casillero Del Diablo Merlot and it was $13.50 for a glass of WINE ? And this is no high end restaurant. The place is dirty, flies inside, no table clothes, just awful never again will I ever step foot in that place. I literally had to get up to ask for a menu ? And the one guy just looked at me like he had no clue what I was asking for ?
The dish I ordered was $15.95 and not worth it the portions are not worth it. At least bring some extra Nan bread my god. He didn’t even deserve a tip at all.
They need to take a Saturday and do a major cleaning inside this place
Maybe clean your windows while your at it and clean your entrance doors ? Put some tablecloths over the tiny tables and re train your server/ bartender who had plenty of time to ask if we needed water ? Or some more bread.
awful just awful

Great introduction to Indian food. Curry, biryani, and makhani are delicious and spice levels are to order. Service is friendly and willing to assist the uninitiated. Atmosphere is casual. We will definitely return.

I don't know why there are $$-$$$,
when this place is $-$$ price,
but $$$ quality food.
Atmosphere is good, wait staff is great, food is awesome.
Wine, beer, and mixed drinks very reasonable.
Nice change of pace and great for big groups that like to try new dishes.

This saddens me to write this. I am a HUGE Indian Food fan and we have been customers of Kabab and Curry since 2007 when they had their other location further up Transit Rd and my opinion was they were always the best Indian Restaurant in the area.
Sadly that's just not the case anymore. We came here at around 5:30 on a Saturday and were seated quickly, a young server came up and dropped two glasses of water with us without saying a word, then we waited...and waited and just shy of 10 minutes later someone else came up to us to see if we wanted to order food....or possibly maybe a drink other than Water ???
We ordered our food, our waiter didn't ask if I wanted anything else to drink but I requested a Beer, it came back and he just dropped it on the table with the cap slightly loose....like don't you offer glasses for your beverages anymore ?
Our food came, we just ordered two Entree's with Naan Breads, they brought out the Masala's and we were halfway through eating them before they brought out the Naan Breads....shouldn't those come out at the same time ??
I ordered a Chicken Makhani with medium spice but instead what I got was a tasty but mild Sauce....I honestly think I could have driven to Aldi about 5 minutes away and picked up something comparable.
Finished our food, then waited...and waited....and waited for about another 10 minutes before someone came to us to take away our dishes...I didn't want to wait any longer so I decided to give him my Credit Card, pay and get out.
At this point Kabab and Curry is firmly in the "average" category as far as Indian Restaurants in the area. A Sad decline for a once great restaurant.

The server is very excited about the food, especially the lamb. I find that the food is tasty but could be a little spicier and maybe a little less tomato. I have not tried the kebab’s here, only the curry.

I wish there was a 0 star option, because this place would get ZERO stars. I have eaten Indian food around the entire world - and nothing even comes close to what I experienced here. First off, not an Indian person in existence in this restaurant - that was not a good sign to start with. I would not go back if you paid me. First off, I went to use a coupon I had which stated that "You and your guest are invited to enjoy one complimentary DINNER ENTREE when another DINNER ENTREE is purchased of equal or greater value."
Our waitress Lisa S. talked me out of ordering what I wanted to order which was the Veggie Tikka Masala (and should not have been pushed into what she suggested -- honestly NEVER listen to what the waiter suggests, its usually not that good or something they are trying to get rid of) but she did not like the fact that the two of us at the same table were ordering the same thing. I had no issues with it, but stupidly was pushed into ordering what she kept suggesting (Korma).
Anyways, we had first ordered Veggie Samosas. For two of them on one plate it was $4.50. I was in shock when I first got them - they were SO SMALL and I could tell the dough they used was over kneaded - not good/old. When I broke mine open the dough inside was completely RAW! I pointed it out, as I was not going to eat raw dough, she never apologized, just acted annoyed that I pointed this out, and said 'what do you want me to do? bring you a new one?' DUH...well she did bring a 'new one' right when my dinner came out - I never got to even eat them, but I can tell you, I have never seen samosa's look this bad - they are so ridiculously small (see the photos!) I paid almost 5.00 for this?! This is outrageous, and then to not even have them cooked properly - NEVER have I seen samosas look like this. AWFUL - NO EXCUSE! You would think after serving raw food, they would take it off the bill - oh no, that never happened!
The rest of the food showed up - We had one Veggie Tikka Masala $12.95, that tasted fine - the Veggie Korma $12.95 (that she suggested) was not good. I did not like it at all. We ordered one naan $ 2.50 which was dry like cardboard - no butter on it, it was like eating a dry cracker - one of the worst Naan I have ever had as well. The meal sucked quite frankly. Anyone who calls this authentic Indian food is clueless. When the bill came, the waitress did NOT take off the $12.95 for the 'complimentary meal,' she argued that she would only take $8.00 off and stated that the coupon only had up to an 8.00 value! Are you kidding? There is NO DINNER ENTREE on their menu that costs $8.00! So anyone trying to use the stated 'one complimentary Dinner Entree' WILL NEVER GET IT!!! I asked another waiter who was passing by to inquire about it, he also came back and said No they would not do it. The original waitress came back and said she talked to the owner (who clearly hides in the kitchen and would not come out to speak to us) - and told us that the owner said NO they would not honor the coupon and would only take off the $8.00 not the $12.95 that they should have. I could not believe the nastiness of these waiters - rude as can be - and they would not deduct what the coupon stated. I had to pay $27.78 for this meal that was total crap. Had I known they would not honor the coupon I would never have even come here. This restaurant clearly has no clue about customer service - and to have uncooked food on top of everything - no deduction for that, these people are Clueless on how to fix their errors and make the customer happy. There are so many better options in the area for Indian food. Jewel of India kills this place, so does Taj Grill, Spices of India - all way better than this crap. I would NEVER recommend this place, I will let everyone I know about this experience so they do not have to go through this. NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!

This is by far, my favorite Indian restaurant. Was there with friends on a Monday night, we were the only table. I ordered my favorite chicken dish. It was delicious (as always) but the portion seemed really, really small. Not worth the $12.95 price, unfortunately. :(

The buffet provided a variety of tastes - meat and vegetarian; appetizers, main dishes and desserts. Most dishes were very flavorful and authentic. Naan was delivered to our table twice during our meal.
This restaurant is good for casual dining and delivers very good Indian food. It is not a restaurant for fine dining or for Indian dishes that are more refined or innovative.

I have been stopping in at Kabab & Curry every now and then for their lunch buffet ever since they opened on Main Street several years ago. Their food is consistently good and the staff are always very friendly. The overall atmosphere is very calming. For those coming in from out of town, the restaurant is conveniently located about a 10 to 15 minute drive from the Buffalo Niagara International Airport (Genesee St. left on Transit then turn right onto Main St.) and not to far from the Eastern Hills Mall. They can also arrange delivery for you.

We had good vegetarian food prepared as per our wish (less spicy...) and served by a very friendly and attentive staff. The food must be equally good for non-vegetarians as well. Authentic Indian/Pakistani choices

This place is always a top choice for the family. Wed evenings are indian/ Pakistani buffet nite. Always delicious. The usual butter chicken, biryani, samosas, battered fish fritters, plenty of veggie choices. Awesome naan too. The staff is attentive and always pleasant. Ask for a side of hot chili sauce for extra heat as the buffet is on the mild side.
